Although I'd been at the Oxford v Man Utd game the week before Christmas in 1983, my first actual Christmas game was in 1984 with 2 goals a piece from Hamilton and Aldridge against Cardiff. Then back home to watch Escape to Victory on TV. Boxing Days don't get much better than that!!!
