A couple of questions…

When do we expect the club badge to change? Is it from next season?

The club state they want to be the best ran club in the EFL and mention operations. This is the 2nd time in a week I have heard the club mention operations and how it is pretty much where they want it to be (Grant mentioned this on the Dub). What do they class as operations? If it things such as ticketing then the club is miles off it.

It is stated that there was a discussion around the relationship with the Oxfordm**l. What was the general feeling from the club towards the Oxfordm**l?

'3) The approach to sponsorship and hospitality is now clearly driven by contribution to profit not just revenue. This positively impacts the Club’s ability to invest in the business.'

'Contribution to profit not just revenue' - another way of saying jacking up the prices potentially making them unaffordable.

If it costs me £5000 to run my operation and I sell 100 packages at £100 each - that's £10,000 revenue and £5000 profit

If it costs me £5000 to run my operation and I sell 30 packages at £200 each - that's £6,000 revenue and only £1000 profit....oh and I've also p*ssed off a lot of long term sponsors and Associate Directors

I wonder which one our current reality is most closely aligned with?

Any answers to the following questions @FAB Admin? I notice the comment regarding the regular column in the OxfordMa*l. I would hope that this is either used to our advantage to really push the new stadium or the club tell the paper where to go.

I would take the silence as a no 😂

Fancy not using this place as a means of communication with one of the largest, broadest selection of OUFC fans out there?

I`ll presume the "Advisory" bit means they will tell/advise us what we are expected to do?

Almost like a club construct wants nothing to do with those pesky fans................... shocked I tell you, shocked. :ROFLMAO:

The FAB is meeting with the club in January twice. The first meeting to review financials, the second to provide feedback on 2025-26 ticketing and memberships. Please dm or email us with any points you would like raised.

The FAB is not currently planning to contribute regular columns to the Oxford Mail.
The crest will not change on shirts until next season, but the agreed version will gradually roll out in other areas - you will have already seen it on social media.

Wonder when the ST holders event, minuted in September, will be?

Nothing noted in matters arising nor any further mention in Novembers minutes.
The open day at the stadium held in October was the event referred to.

Thank you for the feedback and glad to hear FAB won’t be doing anything with the Oxford Mail.

I am not sure how the open day can be classed as a ST holder event when it was open to anyone to get a ticket for it?

Fair point - it was open to all fans including ST holders. Our notes should have called it a fan event not an ST holders event as the club had at no point specified that they would hold an event solely for ST holders.

What date do you need questions/information by?

I have a number of items relating to both financials and ticketing.

One of the benefits was to hold ST holder exclusive events which was announced on the renewal press release so if this wasn't the open day, when will the ST exclusive event be?

A unique ST holders event was not announced in this season's benefits. Its been difficult to deliver in the past.
Here are the benefits listed for 2025-26

IIRC it was on the renewal marketing comms.

Thyen it was minuted by yourselves as such in September.

"Planning for a season ticket holder event is underway."

Presumably the club told its construct to feedback that the Open Day, where tickets were first come first served ST holder or not, was it?

And you let them off the hook and took the pat on the head.

The Fan Advisory Board recently met with senior staff and Grant Ferguson. You can read about it and access the minutes via the link.

I am.not sure that, other than for the supporters who go to the meetings, that helps a lot?
So you have discussed the finances, but can't discuss any details.
You are aware of who the new COO is, but can't give out who this is.
I am a little puzzled.

It serves the purpose that the chosen ones can be happy in the knowledge they got a tit bit of information before the rest of us.

As for serving the purpose of the FAB being the connect between us and the club management team............. well here we are..... they knew before us.

Woop woop.
