Goalkeeper is a position where you need match practice to keep the reflexes and positioning sharp. Remember Cumming when he first arrived.

We don’t have a reserve team nor any recent friendlies.

It’s not a surprise he was rusty, but he is a perfectly adequate back up.

You should know what it's like on here by now. One bad game, regardless of any context and that is that. That player is now doomed to the 'forever judged as not good enough pile'. That is of course until they have a good game and they then go to the 'this player is amazing and could go for millions pile'!
