Think that’ll be a good bit of news for increasing our support and profile in Indonesia - they must be buzzing over there right now!!! I just hope he hasn’t been foisted on us for those reasons though - I’m sure the Indonesians want to see him play in the Championship and we don’t need to be carrying baggage, even if he’s under 21. Hope he’s been brought in with real intent to strengthen the team.

With a population of 280,000,000 it’s only a matter of time until Indonesian football will have a few breakout stars; in fact it’s kind of surprising that there hasn’t been one already.
Whether this kid is the answer to that time will tell, but mixed with the commercial benefits a signing like this brings, it isn’t the worst move to look to the Indonesian market for potential future gems
