Matt Phillips' best touch as a Yellow.
This moment was quite possibly the most excited I ever felt during our Championship tenure. Harris was playing out of his skin and we looked like we belonged in the league.
It's a real shame it all went wrong for Des.
Same, we were right behind that strike, I couldn't believe it at the time! We played Blackburn off the park in the first half but conceded a sloppy goal right on half-time. Deserved 3 points and left with zero.
If we had won that game, I believe we would have built up enough momentum to end up 3-4 places higher than we finished. The football we played under Des at times was very good, it was just far too inconsistent.

Big difference between the goals. Heggebo sticks his arm out away from his body whereas Sparky's is tucked against his body. About 2m 48s in:
If they do Sparky then they are going to have to re-Ref a lot of games for many incidents of 'deceiving the Officials'.

I don’t think Heggebo should have been banned for that but now they have interfered once they may feel they need to interfere again. There was one in PL yesterday chalked off for something similar. I really look forward to Refwatch on Sky tomorrow morning to see what the take is on it from our ref from Banbury. Pretty sure it will be on there.

Great performance from Sparky yesterday. I think he’s been great so far this season.
One small thing, and I’ll probably be on my own on this in this era of celebrated ‘sh*thousery’, but I wish he’d cut back on the shush celebration so much.
I don’t care much about the first goal as he’s up the other end of the field, but for his second, he seemed more interested in taunting the opposition than celebrating with his own fans, and I find that a bit weird unless there’s history with Leicester I don’t know about?
Probably weird to care about this, but so much nicer to see Missanga enjoy his goal with fans.

I’m completely all for the celebration. It’s the side of Harris that I really like and he’s at his best when he’s up the noses of the opposition. When you go places like Leicester, the more you can do to create hostility and a divide between them and their fans, the better.
I’m as critical as the next person of Harris from a technical POV, but in a summer where we’ve had to ship out players for spitting on the badge, I can really appreciate players that wear it with pride and own it. It’s a love hate relationship but through thick and thin, there he is.

That’s a fair point.
You've got to hand it to him TBF - shank what should be an easy finish off the bottom of your boot, handball into the net for good measure, and then wheel off with finger to lips like he just scored a rabona from 30 yards.
I genuinely enjoyed it, and fair play for some brilliant shithousery. These shots are somehow bouncing off him favourably in League 1, and it's great to see.

As long as they go in I will take them. He is a league one centre forward, get him and O Donkor rotating so we are not running them into the ground then our lone centre forward (whichever is up there) scoring at more than a game is only a very good thing for us.

3 for him, 2 for O Donkor, so 5 from the lone centre forward in 4 games. Not bad for what most considered our real weak area. Shows the difference in playing a level down for a more competitive team, judging either of them on championship standards is a bit pointless.
