Some of the minnows have got better at the low block defense and getting everyone behind the ball, they offer nothing going forward and then have everyone defend the box, doesn’t leave a lot of room to score so the hammerings have become less frequent.

Interesting to see Büchel, surprised he was here just 10 years ago. Not the worst keeper we have ever had. One scuffed effort from MH which BB comfortably saved low down. Not a match for the purists!

Benji was better than Sam Slocombe that season. We'd have been champions, imo, with a good L2 keeper that year.

If we had 16/17 Eastwood and didn't go deep in the 2 cups we would have won the league I think.

For me there's a lot of joy in watching the Harris press, forcing big-name players into mindless mistakes.

What he does filters through to the rest of the team.

Especially without Brannagan, we needed him tonight to set the tone.

Luckily we have plenty of other really talented forwards too, but I'm definitely glad he got his start and his goal this evening.

Won us the first half. Credit's due.

I suspect Harris has come back partly to compensate for the loss of Cam. He needs to be totally up for it and fired up, like he was today - he’s hopeless when he just strolls through it.

Over the moon for Sparky, and rather bemused about some of the comments that he fluffed the first shot. It was a decent first-time effort from the edge of the penalty area - hard and low, and he made the keeper work. Lovely finish from the rebound.

Well taken goal last night but that goal can’t Smooth over the cracks.as much as he was a good striker in L1 with us considering his goal scoring stats before he came to us, he hasn’t done it so far in the championship but I do hope that goal last night gives him the oomph to go out and get more.
Maybe it’s been a lack of confidence or championship experience I just hope it gave him the oomph last night.

The great bit about that was the usual duo behind me who always ALWAYS slag him off (you're s**t Harris) choked on their words in the split second between the save and him changing feet and slotting in the rebound! They really didn't want to celebrate HIM scoring. Tossers.

I celebrated him scoring, and I still think he's not good enough as a Championship striker. It did make me chuckle that he needed 2 attempts to get it in :ROFLMAO:

But whilst he plays for Oxford, I hope he plays well and scores goals.
