Salford are certainly searching for their Phil Parkinson - Ferguson is of similar profile, a mainly lower league manager who knows his way around.

Agreed. But they will prob go some man Iu guy with no experience or someone who.plays fantastic football which won't work, when at that level you need a manager who plays winning football not beautiful football

I’m honestly not surprised. I said to one of my friends immediately after the League Two play-off final that I expected him to be sacked. Gary Neville & Co. have consistently shown that they don’t tolerate failure. They’d have expected Robinson to achieve automatic promotion, and he fell short.

Gary Neville will surely soon realize that Salford will always be a TINY club in a very busy football area. Their fan turnout at Wembley was shocking & no manager will find it easy to get more folk through the turnstiles.

A guy in his sixties who has recently had cancer and whose last job at s**t West Brom ended with him getting sacked after four months. He’s going back to Blackburn after managing there before. It might work out brilliantly but it’s hardly a sure thing.

Thought Maresca was being lined up to take up the Man City job when Pep goes in the summer.

Emery won't go to Man U, he has said he doesn't like managing that size of club with the superstar player mentality that comes with it. Logically he should walk out on Villa and take the Oxford job, we would be perfect for him.

Man U, Chelsea and OUFC jobs all available at the same time, never been a better time to be an out of work football manager who fancies something to do for a year (tops), normally its just the Watford job available.
