General Manager Sack Watch

Thats a bit of a gamble, no Championship experience.
Definitely. Interestingly Rangers have in the past appointed Warburton, Gerrard, Martin and none of them have set the world alight in England.
Norwich have to hit the ground running and if they don’t they’ll probably call on Rowett.
Just hope we don’t get the backlash when we play them next week

Anyone reckon Mous will be next to go ?
Thats such a tough call cause they stuck with him through similar last year and that could equally be a reason as to why theyd shove him now
Idk what their spending was like in the summer but its probably similar to ours so i spose he didnt spend loads just for things to not improve
And i spose the teams thatd be more likely to do a sacking have already done theres recently so he could be the next, but then theres always some tinpot nonsense going on with 'bigger' teams where someone could pull the trigger earlier than pompey

but then talking of tinpot nonsense, looking at ipswich fans reactions to last night they all seem really negative about their team and manager despite the fact they coulda gone 2nd yesterday, so theres always a wildcard sacking in there somewhere

Basically i have no idea and ive just wasted a minute of your time with my rambling and i apologise

Tom Cleverly will be off soon from Plymouth Argyle. 23rd and lost 3-0 at home to Northampton today. Neil Warnock lives nearby. You heard it here first!
Genuinely surprised hes still in place at argyle, but i do quite like the YouTube videos of their fans losing their minds when they play badly

Derek Adam’s returned as DoF a few weeks ago, no doubt he’ll be back in the dugout before long.

Andy Whing sacked at Barrow. Sorry it hasn’t worked out for him.
Hope he finds a decent conference side. I've loved watching his management career

Hard job at a place like Barrow, geography works against them, like at Truro in the national league, as if a player is offered the same money by a club nearer to home, which is most of them, then that’s where they will go.

I think I remember them training near Manchester to try and get around that but don’t know if it’s still a thing?

I think it is. It was mentioned when Whing was appointed.

They train at FC United of Manchester's training ground in Moston. It has 4g and grass pitches as part of the facility attached to FC United's Stadium. Far easier to attract players as a result although the club do work hard on the Community side in Barrow itself which involve the players.

They also have a few Barrow lads in the team such as Elliott Newby and Will Stanway who are generally in the starting 11.

Guess who's back:

The thing is with fat boy Evans if he has some spend in January he will spend it well as he normally starts his managerial role with some decent results.
If Clare Raynor, Angela Raynor or whichever Raynor it is as his second in command, they will get them fighting for everything
