Just the prospect of losing to us is enough reason to get sacked now.
Warne gone now which is a bit of a shame, 7 league defeats on the spin and only 3 goals scored in that time. With a healthy budget he's got a knack of getting teams to be big, strong and organised enough to get out of League 1 but has always struggled to step it up in The Championship when most teams are just as physically good and have the extra bit of class to break a team down, he doesn't have that extra bit of nous to work a way round it so his sacking will likely give them a bit of a shot in the arm.

It worked for us against Cardiff!I’m not sure a new manager is likely to make an impact between now and Tuesday.
I assume they will travel to Norwich today, then rest on Sunday. That gives a new manager, if appointed, one day to change things.
Mousinho must be looking over his shoulder now. Two out of the three promoted managers from last seasons league one campaign sacked
Hopefully Norwich beat them tomorrow and Tuesday they’ll have it out of their systemI’m not sure a new manager is likely to make an impact between now and Tuesday.

Rowett had a bit longer, and Cardiff were sh!teIt worked for us against Cardiff!

Wouldn't bet on those staying eitherJust Portsmouth and Swansea have kept faith.
Bloody hell. That would be madness on their partCould be a Wayne return !

Ah yes that was the managerless one, the next was Cardiff - they have a game tomorrow and their next one is against us possibly with a new manager. Our first game after sacking Buckingham was against Leeds.

I think they’re playing a league game at Norwich tomorrow. I wish I could feel more confident about the next two games, on paper we’re favourites.Didn’t realise they were still in the cup. Hopefully they don’t appoint anyone by Tuesday night.

Yep, it does very clearly show just how big a jump the Champ is tactically. Karl “tactics” Robinson got a team promoted and swiftly relegated as he couldn’t adapt. Warne consistently produces excellent League 1 teams.Doesn't pay to be a promoted manager in the Championship.
Even if they did he's got no time to work with them reallyDidn’t realise they were still in the cup. Hopefully they don’t appoint anyone by Tuesday night.
Even if compo was sorted today then I would imagine he would only be in the stands on Tuesday night.Could do with this taking a least a couple of days to finalise.
Statistics say there in no such thing as the new-manager bounce. However, if you throw GR's MOTM award into the mix... I can see how a superstitious person may have a bad feeling about this.Or we could just focus on our own game?
We’re solid under Rowett. A few pieces of the jigsaw are missing and we have weak spots but overall we’re competitive and have proven we can find avenues to win or at least not lose.
I don’t think we need to worry about ‘new managerial bounces’ and the like.
