They are 5th in the PL and their entitled supporters are in meltdown.
Singing that they want Ed Woodward dead??
I am sure that the rest of the football world are very sympathetic ....

Without condoning the supporters chants wishing for someone to die, it is deeply satisfying to see Manure not doing well. Sort of brings a balance to the world.
Won't stop them being the media darlings, of course, but it will be for the reasons of their poor performances, which is nice to see, and hear.

I would like to see them get relegated myself................ see how they get on then. ? ?

What is amusing is they keep employing Ed Woodward, one of the architects of their decline. As long as he keeps making the Glazers cash and keeps the share price up then that is all that matters, which is doubly amusing considering they were at the forefront of the ultra commercialisation of football back in the day.

They are so entitled it's funny. Changing managers won't help, SAF wasn't a world class manager when he took over, he needed time to create and implement a culture and OGS needs the same. He won't get it, though.

Seems an age ago when Man U v Arsenal was a big game and would have a couple of pages of back and forth between a few trolls on here, now it would seem as strange as people bothering to talk about Wolves v Sheffield United so far have both of those “big” clubs fallen.

Uncanny how they have unravelled like Liverpool in the nineties from their former glories.

As a kid of the 90s and having to face season after season of gloating from the Man Yoo fans at school, I should be reveling in the schadenfreude. To some extent I am. Seeing OT's rows of empty seats before they'd even kicked off for the second half against Burnley was joyously funny.

It's just that the bragging baton has been passed on to the misty-eyed, back-on-their-perch Liverpool fans who really are the number one bunch for myth building around their club so nothing much has changed. Liverpool are great to watch but you would have thought they were the greatest team that ever played. The sycophancy around them is tedious in the extreme.

Unpopular opinion but I would always take a Chelsea or Man City winning the league - at least there is fewer of them to gloat.

Junior is still pretty keen to fly the ManU flag. Reminds me of the baldy/junior doubleteam back in the day.

Ah, but the fans should be happy they have so many office noodle and courier partners.

The thing Man U had with SAF is the last of the old school, controls everything managers, and he could actually do it well. Modern top level football clubs have whole structures to run the football side of the club. But not Man U. They have spent so much money but without any sort of coherent plan. They have also made signings for commercial reasons as much as football ones (Pogba, Sanchez, etc). It has declined to the point that it is going to take more than a managerial sacking to change things, wholesale changes in the structure of the club are required - but can't see the Glazers doing it until the magic money tree dries up.

all whilst Paul Pogba is relaxing in France (sorry, recuperating from injured) and Alexis Shanchez is still enjoying his £175k a week salary, albeit some other club paying a bit of a loan fee.

I mean, I'm no Liverpool fan.....but it's fair to wonder now if (in England at least), they might be?
Over their last 31 Premier League games (not exactly a small sample size!) they've won 30 and drawn one. And they won a European Cup in that time frame to boot.
Their points total in the 2018-19 PL was the third highest ever - and they're on pace to shatter the record this year.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any other team in England has ever been on the sort of run they've been on these past two seasons........

Course it might all go to hell, still - hopefully starting with Wolves tonight.

In terms of winning the league - 2015-16 was the only time in my (41 year) lifetime where I took any pleasure in the English top flight champion.
Every other winner has been either a tedious, arrogant, traditional money bags club (Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal) or a tedious, arrogant, new-money-bought-us-the tile club (Man City, Chelsea, Blackburn back in the day.......)

And Burnley.... ? , at home it is sad for all of them Man U chaps... ?
