You've obviously never played PowerLeague. The bloody cages are painful if you get nudged into them at full speed. Got a couple of nice scars from being shoulder charged into the cages.

Power league was nuts. I played there as a youngster and was so far out of my league. We played a team whose supporters brought their Alsatians along who would bark and attack the cage every time we went near the edge. It was basically Mad Max meets crap football.

We also played one match when our keeper got sent off for inexplicably saying to the ref “either you’re a twin or a f*****g c**t” within the first thirty seconds. That wasn’t fun either.

I remember my first game in the west Cheshire league when I first moved up here, played a team from Wallasey and the striker on the other team got wound up that much he head butted our right back and knocked him out cold, the thing is, the right back hadn’t said a word to him

We played a Met Police side and they kicked seven bells out of us. When we complained to the ref one of them said “what are you gonna do? Call the police?”

I played a league game against the met police team. Those guys weren’t sweet.

Also played in the south London power league /cage games, I remember a guy getting a baseball bat and smashing up the other teams defender one week. Was a brutal, but very technically skillful league. There were always a couple of yts lads on the teams too…I was up against Craig Eastmond a number of times. What a player he was,

That's pretty much my experience of Power League, some teams that were amazingly skillful, and a lot of psychos. Played in it for about 9 years, you had to toughen up pretty quickly to survive in there.

You started it by posting a rather fantastic grumpy rant. You can’t really be a snowflake about a few people raising reasonable and mild objections.

You basically put Ebiowei into a box to suit your narrative and then acted like a hurt child when people questioned your opinion stated as fact.

Apparently Palace were offering him out on a free to get rid (had a 50% sell on just in case).

Got to have been a big off the field issue, Blackpool are apparently talking to other managers to replace Bruce, so unlikely to have got rid of otherwise if about to change manager.

He may have talent, but it appears that ge has a terrible attitude based on his last few moves ( and Blackpool firing after a few weeks).
I am sure that most on here would love to have had his talent. What a waste. ..

The fact that Ebiowei leaving was 'by mutual consent' outside of a transfer window kind of implies that he must have done something pretty silly.

If it's just a bad attitude, there's no way you'd accept anything less than a full pay-off of your two-year contract on September 4th.

To be fair was a common tactic of Billy Bremner back in the 60s and 70s and never did him any harm!
