20 or so away supporters left stranded at Thornhill P & R before tonights match

Motts need to be asked/ told to compensate each and every one of them- for both the coach fare AND the (useless) match ticket

Also , maybe the club should look at a different coach company as Motts dont appear to be fit for purpose after tonights major fuckup
 
I'd give more benefit of the doubt than one (awful) fuckup meaning they're not fit for purpose, but the club and those blessed to represent us need to get serious with their questions and demand some answers and apology before theyre.let off the hook. Can't imagine the fury being stranded so absurdly like that
 
I posted this in the match thread.

The LRC website says coaches leave from the bus stop ON London Road, not in the P&R itself.

So unfortunately the fans were in the wrong place, but have the tickets need to have this info printed on the back.

We bought our coach tickets over the phone and weren't told the pickup wasn't at the P&R.
Never had issues with the coaches before, but massively peed off about this.
The info is hidden on the website, but its not clear when selecting your pick up on the ticket site, nor clear on the ticket which states "THORNHILL PARK AND RIDE".
Plus it should be clear that somethings not right if they stop at the Sandhills bus stop that a reasonable no of people aren't there - especially when the bus is 20 minutes late.
 
It's all very well the info being on the separate bit of the website for LRC but considering the links for buying tickets are often provided in the initial ticket news article alongside the phone number, I doubt very many people ever visit the LRC section of the website.

The section in the match preview just says "Thornhill Park and Ride" as well as the tickets themselves just saying the park and ride.

It's not a hard thing to list the detail of, especially when that detail exists elsewhere already.

I would have waited at the park and ride if that’s what the ticket said.
 
Disappointing for those that missed last night, through no fault of their own.

I do think the response from the club to rightly reimburse the match ticket and coach travel, AND offer free coach travel to another game of the unfortunate few(s) choice is a top class reply. It has also been dealt with quickly and transparently. Fair play to the club.
 
Can knock the club for various things but also worth giving them praise when they do resolve something quickly. Gutted for those fans mind, especially any that were desperate to tick the ground off their visited lists.
