Ex-Staff Liam Manning

Living in Norfolk and married to a Norwich fan, I had to listen to their phone in with the American owner in the week, he was adamant Manning was the man for the job. Norwich fans today were chanting for the heads of Manning, the Board and their DoF, they also let the players know they’re not fit to wear the shirt and then a large group protested after the game.
I so hope they don’t turn things around before we play them.

We just know Manning will get the bullet and Ken Brown and John Deehan will be appointed and paraded round in sedan chairs to the adulation of the fans the day we play them…

Ps. I KNOW Ken Brown is 91 now.

Always worth tuning in to cheer me up if Oxford have a bad game.

Norwich looked very poor and likely to concede at any time. Poor though they were, the result does break their run of defeats.

Not the run without winning though, that’s now 10 games.
He goes into Saturdays game second bottom (to a side who are in admin and have been a shambles) on a run of 10 games without a win and on a home run of 7 defeats from 7 games, one of the worst starts from any manager I can remember, another home loss and if he doesn’t go then Norwich have the most patient owners in the game, Forest or Watford would have had 7 managers from those results by now.

Always a slightly weird one expecting players to stand there and take that from a crowd. I appreciate it is expected otherwise it comes across as they don't give a damn but there can't be that many industries/jobs when similar is expected. Fair play to the 2 Norwich players near the goal who stood there for ages and took it.
Reminds me of one of the last away games under Robinson (Cambridge/Peterborough?) where he scuttled off down the tunnel and the players came over and I got a real sense of 'we are going to do this for you despite this Muppet...'

I can remember when the players just walked off unless it was end of season or a big win/cup upset, feels a bit forced doing it every game now, you can understand why after a s**t result they don’t really want to hang about.

I mostly just go straight to the exits after the game is over unless it’s one of the above, so I can hardly complain that the players/manager do similar.

Soooo would anyone take the Manning/Hogg/Krause team back, bearing in mind they come as a trio? A lot of anti-Rowett sentiment so a genuine question. Last time he got fired mid-season he came to us and kept us up at the expense of his former employer...

And Tyler Goodrham wouldn't mind I suspect

Absolutely not, if he happened to do remotely well, he'd leave us at a moments notice. He can slither off elsewhere.

Definitely not - when he kept us up last time we had a massively underperforming squad who were far better than the league position we found ourselves in.

Realistically the ceiling of this squad is probably around 18th if things go very well.
