It's pretty odd if they do sack him - it's not like they were on a losing run. They'd won their previous game against a side expected to be competing at the top.
Exactly, if they had won one nil (a ridiculous idea now obviously) they would be sitting in the play-off spots. Keep him I say.

Also, having seen the highlights four or five times, Mo's goal was the best. Well done young man!

I know. I asked a Preston fan about him he said could we take him back. Contributed next to nothing apart from a great close in finish.
That’s not what they are saying on their forum. One idiot has already said he’ll be their player of the season.

I don't get to many games nowadays due to work and other commitments, but given Leicester is 25 mins from me now, I treated myself to a rare away day. So glad I did, it was the best away experience I can remember in my recent memory. Talk about 12th man, we kept the energy levels so high throughout the game it felt like we gave the lads the motivation to keep on scoring. It could (and maybe should) have been 6 or 7.

Very excited to see more from Mo. Embargo? What embargo!
Gone are the tippy tappy passing out to midfield followed by the usual long pass straight back to the keeper, providing of course if we hadn’t already lost the ball by then! Gone is the jobs for old boys, we now have an experienced professional coaching set up and the fruits of that are now beginning to emerge !
Happy days, come on you yellows!💛

Im ashamed to admit I forecast a 1-0 defeat! I’m very happy to be bottom of the predictions league, I’ve been far too negative!
I also predicted a (2-0) defeat. But like others on here, I didn’t want to get overly confident, predict a win, tempt fate like I have before and then lose…

Will try my best now to keep a level head. 😂

Said on tuesday we fell apart when McDonnell went off. He's not flashy and he won't ping 70 yard diagonal hollywood balls, but he will run and hassle and win the ball back and like shown yesterday hopefully pop up in the right spot for a goal or two. He does the dirty work and I know it's a bit cliche but sometime you won't notice him until he's not on the pitch anymore he does the donkey work which makes us tick. He's worth every penny we paid for him and in the role he played yesterday he will be absolutely pivotal to our campaign.

I believe if the ball bounces off of a part of your body (not arm obvs) and hits your arm, then it is not deliberate handball. Goal stands!
For attackers, the rule is stricter: any handball by an attacking player in the immediate build-up to a goal results in a disallowed goal, regardless of intent or arm position. This applies even if the contact was accidental, ensuring that goals scored directly from a handball by the scorer or in the immediate sequence are chalked off.

Key Exceptions for Attackers:

  • The goal stands if the handball was not immediate (e.g., occurred several passes earlier).
  • The goal stands if it results in an own goal by a defender.
  • The goal stands if scored by a teammate after the initial handball

After Tuesday, where I thought we were lethargic and laboured, I had no idea what to expect. But wow, the intensity from the off was blistering. I said last week we needed Harris to start, with his, er, harassing (sorry) of their playing out from the back and seeing him block a clearance after about two minutes set the tone. How we kept that up all match suggests fitness and conditioning has improved. Time and again, out of possession we harried in numbers and got a foot in to break up their movement. When Mo scored I actually got a tear in my eye. Incredible in the last few minutes how determined everyone was to keep the clean sheet. Saw one critical ex Foxes player saying their young left back should have been taken off, so tormented was he. This person mentioned the left back was 19, skipping over the fact that tormenter was only 18. My Foxes friend said beforehand that their defence was Dodgy, with a capital D, but yesterday was all about how we attacked and got in positions to really put them to the test. Afterwards, a mate of his told me to put 25 quid on a third successive relegation. This is a club that right now is our complete opposite. We are together, giving it everything, with older heads supporting the youngsters. Fans giving full backing. Oh, and a manager who knows his onions. Leicester is not a shithole. Lived and worked there and it is even better now than then. But their football club. Hellfire...

I’ve watched a lot of the Leicester vlog type YouTubers and on tik tok. Lots of them complaining we were fouling lots, should have had at least one sending off, paid the ref. Only possible red I saw was there donkey up front on Helik.

Cairon Brown did a highly suspicious dive on the floor in front of their striker who was in on goal, bringing him down in the process without touching the ball. I was relieved when the ref gave nothing (and then proceeded to give nothing to anyone for about ten minutes)

Looked a red on Helik too.

It surprised me, but going into the game, and after it, we do top the league for fouls per match (16.3).

Strangely we haven't actually committed a lot more fouls than the teams we've played against. There was a bit of a gap yesterday (11 from them, 16 from us), and they do have the lowest average in the league, but I'm putting that down to the amount of possession they have. There's just less opportunity.

It feels like some of the fouls given against us have been super soft this season, and it's stopped us from building up a head of steam at times. Yesterday the referee let a bit more go for both sides, and it helped produce a much better spectacle. Can they complain about any of the four goals? Not to my mind.

Kai Andrews did an immense job breaking up their play as the most advanced midfielder (5 tackles, 1 interception), and along with McDonnell (4 tackles, 5 interceptions), we just stopped them in their tracks fair and square. Add Brannagan's 97% passing accuracy on top of that, which is ridiculous, and you can see how they got bossed.

They just won’t accept that they aren’t a big team anymore. I do feel for them but perhaps yesterdays result will be a wake up call.

Listened on the radio, and watched various highlights.

Utmost respect to Ramsey for coming into off-field carnage at the club, and getting us playing beautiful free-flowing football.

With the the embargo he has clearly had to evaluate our options, and work with youth, and get what he can out them.

Our passing play for the goals was truly breathtaking.

If we'd have got a similar type of manager in like Rowett, they'd be playing 5 at the back, and try and nick a goal in the last ten minutes.

This result will give us all a lot of happiness and hope, for along time!

And our fans were just brilliant.
