Yep, Ale Wagon...... they welcome anyone. Good array of real ales if thats your thing.
Out the train station, turn right, follow the path round to the right until your near the Army recruiting office, bear left onto Charles Street, go past the Rainbow & Dove on the left and its a bit further up on the right.

Excellent. Enjoyed it last season. And ended up in there after our three points, missing numerous trains back home!

Nope, just don`t be k**b and you`ll be fine. Don`t even have door staff.

The other pubs in town are different.

The Barleymow ,a short walk away, is designated "Home Only" but again be sensible and no problems.

Nearer the City Centre you won`t get in the High Cross, Market Tavern, The Friary and a couple of others.

The Globe, Wygstons House, Blue Boar, Rutland & Derby, Two Tailed Lion are all fine as long as its not a group of loud "lads" arriving.

Parking update: I’d booked Castle Mead Academy car park via Just Park - the booking was cancelled without notice or explanation (I spotted a refund in my bank account which could easily have been missed). Now booked elsewhere but if you’re booked in Castle Mead….

This bit talking about last season's away win, from the Leicester preview on the official site, is a bit silly:

Widely regarded as one of the U’s best away performances in recent memory, the team produced a display full of energy, character and quality, while the travelling supporters were in fine voice throughout. It was arguably the standout performance of the 2025/26 campaign and a result that will live long in the memory of everyone who made the trip to Leicester.

I'd argue that Bristol City was better. Both performances involved stellar moments from the evil Belgian bumpkin who's name cannot be mentioned.
