The overall point is that if you go after the wealthy they are the most able to mitigate taxation .............or leave.

Fortunately this was before the days of Ecoboost - 2004. It met an untimely end after going backwards through a hedge.

I did test drive a Fiesta ST about a month ago. I am just glad I didn't have access to that kind of speed back in 2010, when I was making mistakes on the road!!

We (I) have messed up, we will be in Newcastle seeing friends as its the last weekend before the new arrival.

Which begs the question, why would you buy 5 seats on the LRC rather than drive your entire family for a fraction of that cost?

And no disrespect to anyone who uses it - but the LRC is really for the elderly, (younger) teens, and people who haven't got anyone to go with.

I posted my not so serious reply before I had seen the LRC prices. Yes it might seem expensive but then so is travelling by train, it would cost 2 adults and 3 children £163 to go from Oxford to Leicester that day. You pay more but don’t have the hassle of driving yourself, finding parking etc.

Plus getting to the station with kids & kit in tow, changing 4 times............ then hoofing it to the KP. Plus food, drinks etc.

The reality is families are being priced out of football and it is becoming more difficult for them to justify the expense for 90 minutes of entertainment.

*just me showing some empathy......... I don`t want screaming crotch goblins near me at the football.
