We been given Category A status which means adult tickets will be £30.

And I told my wife my away days would be cheaper in League One!

Stevenage is also expensive, especially the kids pricing.

Because last year we were not much of a draw compared to other clubs. Now in League 1 we appear much bigger than other teams. They also know we sold out last year so will probably do so again hence the top ticket price. Tbf. Burton Albion are so the same category. Presumably due to how close they are

They may get a surprise, a lot of ground hopper type folk will have ticked it last season, at a very reasonable £20 and a great result.

Paying 50% more for the same "experience" will put a lot of folk off.

I don't see why they can't cap away tickets in the EFL like they do in the Premier League.

£20 in 2013 is worth about £29 now. So - nice idea, but capping all L1 (and Championship) tickets at £20 in 2026 would be quite a block on revenue for a club that lost, say, £17.5m in its last annual accounts...

Well I'd love some kind of German model of football too. But I bet there are plenty of people that think we should have spent more money on players last season, and that our owners should be pumping more money into the club now, who also think that they should pay as little as possible to watch the product they want exorbitant sums spent on funding.

Anyway, I was just pointing out that there has been inflation since £20 was generally agreed as a maximum reasonable price for live EFL football 13 years ago. Though I suppose "Twenty eight pounds ninety's Plenty" doesn't have the same ring to it.

The whole finance model needs looking at. Premier teams have already spent £1.3 billion on transfers fees this summer, with a month to go….

Payroll last year was £2.6 billion if I remember correctly.
