Tickets Leeds Away Tickets

After the away member window and 48hours of sales to season ticket holders, there are only around 200 tickets left of our 'initial' allocation of 2000.

Spoken to the ticket office and they didn't seem overly hopeful that we'll get any more if/when we sell out.
Football Ground Guide seems to think that it can be 2,600 when using the upper and all of the lower tier. So that would be around 500-600 tickets in the lower tier that we wouldn't be given.

Hull got the same initial allocation as we did and had the following in their article "Once the initial allocation sells out, we can request a further 898 tickets in the John Charles West Stand Lower Tier, pending approval from Leeds United’s Safety Team."

They did receive them.

Learnt from the Hull piece that the back 5 rows in the Upper Tier are Rail Seating.
It also looks like that Hull fans were able to choose their exact seat in the away section.

I wish more clubs would adopt this approach. Far more sensible and, avoids all the issues of those who stand and those who sit.

What's the deal with these? I selected delivery (£2 fee) and then got the usual email saying I could download tickets to my phone. The option to add to the Apple Wallet doesn't seem to work. Are they being delivered as physical tickets? QPR just went straight into my wallet again.
Collected mine on Tuesday .
They are definitely paper tickets.
The email you received is the usual confusing, generic confirmation of your purchase .

This is what I rang about. They're physical tickets.

The email confirmation uses the same generic template as home tickets, which can be digital and therefore becomes very confusing!

Portsmouth had 2,850 at Leeds so if there is enough demand after the 200 or so have gone then I believe the club should reach out for them if they are actually available?

EFL regulations stipulate that we're entitled to 10% provided the stadium is set up to segregate that amount, which Leeds obviously is. If we only get the original allocation, it is about 5% of capacity, so we should give them the same percentage, which would be just under 600. Can you imagine the uproar.

So we'd better bloody well insist on having them, as we have form for not doing so in the past!

It's 10% or 2000, which ever is lower.

"Each Club must make provision for at least 2,000 visiting supporters at every home match or such number as represents 10% of the Club’s certified capacity, if less than 2,000. The League may, on the prior written application of a Club, suspend this Regulation or reduce the figure either for a particular League Match or for a period of time."

Tickets on general sale tomorrow with only a few restricted view tickets left.

Can we confirm if the club will be getting the extra 800 tickets in the lower tier?

Have friends who want tickets tomorrow.

@OUSP @OxVox

One for you to put on the radar please @Scotchegg

Update @Scotchegg - seems they’re letting us down. Again. I give up

Initial 2,000 sold out before general sale.

Looks like the club are going to let down the fans again and not ask for the further 800 which most clubs have had at Leeds this season.

The tickets did not even make general sale..

😡

Is it FK's decision still....oh I forgot he has left the building (not).

C'mon OUFC if the tickets didn’t make general sale and we have sold out, then bite the f'cking bullet.

COYY'S

Spoke to the ticket office this morning and apparently we're not getting any more. They said it was Leeds decision, but seems hard to believe given most other clubs have been allocated the additional 800, and (as others have said) we have form for not pushing for our max allocations. Be good for @OUSP @OxVox to follow up and understand what's happened

As above, if the tickets have not made general sale and have sold out, if other clubs have had, what isn't a huge amount extra, 800 more tickets why would you not ask for them?

We have form of doing this in the past.

Ticket Office were saying earlier this morning we had not asked for more as we didn’t think we’d need all 2,800.

People have rung up since and the line ‘Leeds rejected more’ is being spun so I don’t know who to believe.

I know what i’d put my money on though.

If you sell 2000 before they go on general sale why would you nit sell another 800? Maddening how our club seem so negative about our fanbase, been happening for years now.

Very poor from the club again. In some cases I can see why they haven't asked for the full allocation (hindsight is a wonderful thing) but anyone and everyone knew beforehand that we could sell 2,800 tickets for this one easily.

Can I suggest that anyone who's missed out and hasn't already got a Plymouth ticket heads to Home Park instead? It's actually a much more important game, just as easy to get to, better pubs, closer to the station, winnable. I'm going to Leeds but I'd have happily switched if f*****g Santa hadn't got in the way...

Absolute fucking shit show if we’ve told them we won’t need any more!

If it is the case, I’d have to say it doesn’t surprise me as our ticket supremos have underestimated our away following time and time again.

I have a ticket, but feel for those who don’t, as these are the kind of games that we’ve not had for quarter of a century and the demand was always going to be there.

The club need to be honest with any statement they make, if they even think to make one. They want our money/support but keep finding new ways to let us down in return.

Only have to look at the social interactions on X/facebook.

Loads of people saying they’ve missed out as they was waiting for general sale today.

I hope we can push and get the extra ones all the other clubs do off the back of this 🙏

If it’s Leeds decision as suggested that’s their prerogative. 2000 or 10% whichever is lower.

However they shouldn’t get more than 1250 when they come to ours. And every Leeds fan in the home end should be charged under the full force of the ticketing laws.

We can all be belligerents.
