If they paid that it is an extraordinary amount to pay.
He is a proven League 1 scorer but has struggled in the Championship.
So £4m for a very good league 1 player. Wow.
I guess that it was a last minute panic buy by Sunderland. Wigan must reckon that it's Christmas.
Sunderland will reckon that if he scores enough to get them up then he will be worth it I guess.
