 League One Kits - 26/27

So do we know how many of the League One teams have released kits? Are we massively behind every other team as per usual or are most teams still yet to release kits? Im too lazy to look into it myself!
I check here
Though seems to be missing the Wimbledon away.

Do other teams do something like the Truck shirts that we do?

Truck are making a killing if they have convinced 24 league one teams to sponsor the event.

It’s something we do extra that shouldn’t have a bearing on when we release our kit, the vast majority of our fanbase who wear/buy shirts don’t care about it, especially the kids. So while it’s nice that we do it I think getting the new kit out in summer should still happen, as summer is a pretty much the only only brief time of year we get t shirt weather in this country.

Saying that I am tight and just buy an old one for my summer holidays in the sale but I am sure it matters to the less frugal in our fanbase.

I'm guessing that it's actually white rather than blue, and the photo just has an overly blue hue - judging by she colour of the word Shop, and how unwell those kids look.
Surprising they didn't see fit to edit out the price tag from the shirt on the right, or better still thought to take another picture with it tucked away. It's not like they didn't know until the pictures came back from Boots a week later...

Expect us to be at a similar time to Orient's one then, as that fits with the end of Truck Fest and the current release's marketing campaign...

There is obviously a financial reason for the late release of the kit, we are using the summer to sell off old stock, the truck stuff, holiday/summer merch, we had the ashmolian collaboration near the end of the season, the club must know that the new kit will sell just as well if they put it on later so they can get other stuff sold and make more money that way. Can understand if you are buying for a kid you want it before the summer holiday though as that's a main time for them to wear it, but I suppose they can just wear last years if not and actually get some wear out of it.

Last season’s kit was launched on July 1st 👀

Meanwhile on the subject on new kits Middlesbrough are facing a fan back lash over the launch of their kits - they’re very unlike a traditional Boro kit.

I mean... Does it matter?

I think it should be out for the pre season games, couldn't give a solid reason but just seems right. For me though t shirt and shorts are summer wear, bet you are one of those hard bastards in shorts in January ;) but I will leave that to you, so having it for more of summer makes sense to me, especially as its holiday season. But as I say above I am pretty certain we have found a way of making money with what we are doing, maximising revenues as they say, so people will just have to get used to wearing the old one on holidays etc, you can get them cheap in the sale for that so its not to bad, plus if they change now and go early one seasons kit would only be "current" for about 10 months.

"They're reet boring" complained Gareth, 48, from Redcar - as he queued up to purchase all four new shirts on release day.

Some Prem clubs release shirts for the last game of the season. Ours come out two months later! Rather than spending the summer trying to shift stock maybe they should price it so people buy it during the season and then we could have a new kit for during the holidays.
I fancied the black 'travel' gear they released. £50 for a pair of shorts! If they had been £25-30 id have purchased! So much stuff still on sale on the website so maybe a review of pricing is needed!

We have already released our pre season shirt...that flower, cream thing.

Was in the club shop this morning, and it was a relative hive of activity. A LOT of Macron boxes were piled up in there; I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's the new kit being delivered and we see something announced this week.
