It's just my hypothesis. If we were to release the new kit at a similar time to the Truck shirts, the likelihood is the Truck shirts wouldn't sell as well. Stagger them and you will likely sell more of each. The same reason clubs don't release their home, away, and third kits within days of each other. The Truck shirt essentially gives us a fourth one to add to the list, with what is essentially an expiry date on it too - thus taking priority.

Don't think early necessarily means maximising sales tbh. I don't really get the obsession with when our kit comes out, as long as it's nice and we have it in time for the first game of the season.

Yes, striped kits must be the toughest to keep interesting. The collar and the use of the gold piping for the Umbro logo and their crest make this one look pretty tidy though.

Is it? We're not broke, we're still going to release a kit as it's one of our few forms of income. It just won't be leaked in a photo of a yet un-announced signing.Our new kit launch is going to be interesting in the current circumstances
