Starting with Plymouth Argyle's home kit:


Classy, if not slightly dull Puma template. I like the thickness of the V-neck collar and pinstripes, but nothing to write home about.

Same could be said of most of the main manufacturers to be honest. I genuinely think thank that Macron currently produces the best of the lot.

This season, we have 6 proper 'kit clashes' where yellow cannot be worn, which should see us in an away/third kit for good reason, rather than for the sake of it. Blackpool, Bradford, Burton, Cambridge, Luton and Mansfield.

@oxfordkits might disagree with you there, having himself collaborated with the club to design one of our previous kits. Though I suppose that was a decade ago, so things may have changed.

We've been calling for this for donkey's years, every summer someone says it. And yet, if I'm not mistaken, our only green kits have been goalkeeper ones.

We live in hope.

I'd like us to have a shirt which is main body yellow, navy blue sleeves, navy blue shorts and navy blue socks. I really don't like us wearing yellow socks as part of the home kit.

I would say the large majority of my favourite kits have been in seasons where we've worn blue socks rather than yellow, but I think that may have more to do with the actual shirt design than the colour of the socks. For example, until recently (when the rules were changed) we would often play in alternate colour of our shorts/socks while playing away, and the look was often just as good. Some seasons it really did look crap though.

Yellow shirts with white shorts and/or socks is a crime, especially in seasons when we already had suitable yellow alternatives that didn't clash. Happened often in 2011/2012, when we accompanied yellow shirts with white shorts in almost half of our away fixtures, when we also had a yellow version available. Are you telling me 10 of our opponents had yellow/orange shorts that season?

EDIT - Just checked, we wore that combination against Dagenham, Aldershot, Macclesfield, Gillingham, Wimbledon (fair enough), Aldershot, Bristol Rovers, Shrewsbury (fair enough), Cheltenham, and Northampton.
