I do wonder if by retaining his registration (and perhaps a form of weekly contract) we were able to get some form of transfer deal in place, perhaps future clauses in case he performs and gets a move. Noticeable that neither club reference a free transfer and Stevenage stated they had "agreed terms" with us.
