Your very fleeting, almost begrudging acknowledgment of Andrew’s signing disappeared into oblivion once you found plenty of negatives to focus on instead.
No one’s saying this signing is the cure for all our ills but maybe for a second, just a second, acknowledge the good news of a signing when all along it’s seemed like we weren’t going to be able to sign anyone at all.
 
Interesting that both Coventry and Andrews have both said it’s a season long loan but we are reporting that it is until 2nd January. Presumably we must have some sort of agreement to take it through to the end of the season with us picking up the wages from January.

If a team like Coventry are happy to do this for us, with zero cost for us, then that has to be a good sign - if we have a reputation that we look after players well (Lanks being the prime example) and give them the chances then that is good for us.

Teams would much rather their players play competitive games than just train and play less meaningful football. Sure the prem league clubs must have other players that we may be able to acquire, and Ramsey's reputation will help here no doubt.

Quite rate how your first sentence specifically references my “acknowledgement” of a signing and is immediately followed by a request to acknowledge the signing for “a second, just a second”.

Maybe you need to take your own advice and cool the drama 🙂

There was absolutely nothing that was close to begrudging in my wish for him to do well for us. If you’ve read that into my message, it’s on you, but you’d do well to clarify someone’s intentions before you fly into a bad mouthed rant at someone.

I don’t believe complacency has ever done our club much good. I think I’m pretty balanced in my postings on OUFC and I don’t need our club to do much more for my soul, so your concern for my wellbeing is appreciated but I can assure you it’s not needed. As for what I wanted from our interaction, in retrospect my first choice would have been not to have any response from you at all, if that might influence your next decision.

What the f**k we are planning to do at RW is beyond me though. Presumably keep playing Emakhu out of position and run him into the ground for six months. Good development of a £1m asset that.

I’ll play RW for free. I’m 49, about a stone overweight and have the turning circle of a truck. I have my own boots and happy to do a stint as Olly the Ox if required.
 
Do we think he'll be in the '10' position, playing just ahead of Cam and Jamie Mc? Cam could then also bomb on and JM can hold?

Or if BDK does come through for us then he could be the 10 and we would have genuine options in there.

Also I hope Harrison Bradney could feature this season too in the holding role?

Add in Sibley maybe (I still think he could do a good job in there!) and that's six players for three positions? That's not bad.

A good spine to the team will be essential if we are to be a competitive team.

The funny thing, I have no idea who half of those getting into a strop with me are.

It reminds me of the old adage,

"You can't please all of the people, all of the time, but if you really work at it you can always p**s off the whole of a mediocre football forum"
