National News Just out of interest.....

On the bright side, last day in the office today.
VPN and WFH as A: We can and B: It makes sense not having to travel in to what is a fairly high risk place, its full of sick folk.
All non-essential meetings, training etc etc have been cancelled for 6 weeks.

As a bonus I woke up with a sore throat and snotty nose, but I`m 99% that it is just a cold from self isolating in a wet & muddy field on Sunday. :)

I also had very similar symptoms that lasted around 5 weeks from early February to half way through last week. I would agree that many of those self isolating have seasonal cold and flu like symptoms, which can be horrendous but very different to covid-19.

Unfortunately though, with the NHS massively stretched, it's almost impossible to tell the difference. As Ryan mentioned, there will be those who have been ill and assume that they've had the virus and think they're immune and potentially catch it later this season or next winter.

Or, you may be patient zero (ironically) and it's all your fault!!!
Since it was only yesterday that any cases were announced in my area (Bedfordshire) I think I am probably not Typhoid Mary in this case!
