Whilst yes, it’s still October, there are some tough mid week fixtures for the teams in and around us.
(1st) Ipswich - Rotherham (11th)
(3rd) Peterborough - Accrington (17th)
(6th) Coventry - Fleetwood (4th)
(7th) Rovers - Bolton (23rd)
(8th) Blackpool - Wycombe (2nd)
Blackpool, Rovers & Cov being the only teams able to leap us during our game off. Rovers have the kindest fixture of the three and the other 2 will be taking points off teams ahead of us so any results in those games will be favourable.
Ipswich & Peterborough (who look like the two teams most likely to finish 1st and 2nd in my opinion) both face opposition who have provided a real test for us in recent weeks. Ipswich got their first loss today so I imagine will be very fired up for this one.
I can’t predict an outcome from this, but if Cov, Rovers & Blackpool win the table will bunch right up again.
This Bury situation is strange with us being 2 games ahead of a lot of teams. However the league is slowly starting to take shape.
