The good - he was smashing for us last time. Cracking player.

The questions - a major injury and not much football since that spell. Is he the same player and are we doing a bit more training for a player returning from a long lay off?

Yep. A deal in January is on the cards. Not been involved much at Ipswich. Robbo asked Wolves if he could train with us and they agreed. Jordan said he couldn't wait to get here!!

It’s a very different club to the one he knew previously, but hopefully for us he’s still the same player

Great news, he will make a massive contribution. His skill and pace will torment lge one defenders. His crossing is second to none, and if it could be made permanent I’d be ecstatic.

Great player, him and Whyte would be terrific players together. A decent striker too and we will be flying

Great news. Imagine Whyte, Browne, Holmes and Graham in the same team?
Looking at the stats - he only played 6 times for us, felt like much more and he has only ever scored 1 goal in his professional career.
Got feeling he doesn't like Paul Lambert - JG started at Aston Villa but Lambert sold him to Wolves. He did well at Wolves after he left us but then Lambert was appointed manager and he sent JG out on loan. Then to resurrect his career he went to Ipswich, only for Hurst to be sacked and Lambert be appointed manager. JG has not played a match since and I assume sent back to Wolves!
