Scrooge! It's not Christmas for more than a month bro
I agree, personally. It should start about 5 on Christmas Eve and end midnight on Boxing Day.
I bet they would have if Julian Alsop still played for us@Colin B is referring to our joining forces to attempt to convince the club to collaborate with Ann Summers, Victoria's Secret and Lovehoney.
Suffice to say it was destined to fall, but we tried our damnedest.
We used to sale shirts in some of the sports shops in Abingdon, wantage and Witney.I wonder whether the club have ever looked to pop up in vacant units in some of the towns in the county e.g. Abingdon, Banbury, Bicester, Didcot and Witney. I appreciate I’ve missed plenty off, but whether a pop up shop or two in those places would be more viable and profitable than John Lewis.
I can’t remember the last time I bothered going into Oxford to buy anything. Ok, I don’t head to Abingdon to do my Christmas shopping, but I will invariably pop into town, buy a couple of bits from the shops I need to go to and then walk through town before heading home.
I’m sure JL gets great footfall, but it’s just that, footfall. I’m sure OUFC would get as much interest in a vacant unit in Abingdon when the lights get switched on as they would in John Lewis with a few tourists looking at a Jamie Oliver kitchen knife set.
Wow - their Christmas goods might even raise a festive smile from Ciaron Brown@Colin B is referring to our joining forces to attempt to convince the club to collaborate with Ann Summers, Victoria's Secret and Lovehoney.

Try telling radio stations that! f*****g Pogues Christmas song was playing today!
Everything is rechargeable via USB these days. (Friend told me)Damn the cost of batteries these days!
Ah, but you forget that you’re holding the perfect trump card:I am (hopefully) due to be a grandad in January , I dislike Christmas on many levels, perhaps I will change seeing how she experiences in her life, I really want to get her some OUFC stuff to get her started off in the right way, but as the baby grow thing with the club crest was meet with a large degree of what’s that from my daughter I don’t hold out much hope in that direction to be honest
... and threaten to take legal action when the baby pukes over you!Ah, but you forget that you’re holding the perfect trump card:
If you want grandad to babysit for you, then baby MUST be an Oxford United fan, and all OUFC baby replica kits, baby grows, pyjamas, and bedsheets are mandatory.
