I can only think that the recent opening of the second branch of Seoul Plaza on Cornmarket has sealed the deal for this.

I’m a bit of a boomer and don’t know how to post GIFs so insert Rik Flair GIF here.

First South Korean to sign for us (unsurprisingly). EDIT. Full list of internationals is here.

Remember when we used to get excited about signing players like Sean Rigg and Liam Davis? Yeah. We’re bigger than that nowadays.

Wonder how much we paid. Very excited for this one.

Blimey, turns out I do know.

Edit: or not. Apparently.
You were so close as well...

Great signing. Welcome JWJ. How long does international clearance take as I'm sure he won't be available tonight?

Very excited by what I'm seen of this fella! Let's hope he can manage all his silky runs and tidy finishing in this physical league! Welcome aboard μ „ 진 우 πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ’›

Wonder what this means: "Jin Woo’s season ended in early December, so he may need some time to adapt, which we hope can happen quickly"

He's not played a competitive match for 6/7 weeks, and Google tells me the next K-League season isn't due to start until the end of Feb so not sure how far in to that pre-season he might be.

That, coupled with the absence of anything like "he goes straight in to consideration for the squad for the QPR game"-type information that was included in MPH and Donley's announcements makes me think we could be looking at a couple of weeks to get him match-ready.

But either way, welcome Jin Woo!

Think we are still waiting for international clearance too, so guess maybe we won’t be seeing him on the pitch immediately

The options we have had out wide are either not specialist (Tyler) injured (Placheta) or predictable (Dembele) and other teams are on to us. If Phillips can give us his best 5 or 6 performances and put in crosses like that brilliant one v Bristol City we can stay up.

This signing and the others will at least freshen things up if nothing else and will make us far more competitive. I see survival as a possibility now. It will be a slow process but we can get there.

You have to be excited by this signing! There’s an infectious energy and enthusiasm in Korean footballers and I think this lad will bring that to us. Look how happy he is to be here! And the other thing - goals !!!! Yes, it’s an inferior league but you don’t clock up that many from wide, in any league, unless you have a natural goal-scorers instinct. Can’t wait for him to get going!

Welcome Jin Woo!

Looks exciting but wtf is that interview?

Could we really not find someone locally that speaks Korean to come in and do a live translation?

Exciting signing, probably a costly one, that deserved at least some effort on the socials.
Could we really not find someone locally that speaks with an English accent to come in and ask the questions?

Poor chap, travelled half-way round the world, to the home of the OED, will be keen to learn and understand English, but we throw him in the deep end to be interviewed by an unintelligible Scot!

The Auto Dubbed interview is awful.

Should have either just left with subtitles on or paid to have a real translator.
I just watched interview and was subtitles.

Edit: just seen on YouTube is dubbed on outv just subtitles.
