He looks like a very sturdy young man and taking #5 makes it pretty clear he’ll be a defensive specialist. Our first Turkish player?

Why do people think we’re signing a Korean player?

I'd heard that the Donley injury is far more than just concussion, and he will be out for several weeks, but is staying with us.
Thank you Colin.
It appears that we never seem to get any such information from.the club any more ( the first time in 55 years I can remember having no remote communication on such things).
Yellows Forum- where we find out things first!!

Ter Avest, Placheta ,Krastev, Bradshaw on there way hopefully. Hopefully another Striker/winger ,defender and hopefully the lad from Forrest Mcdonnell ,but 3 great signings so far ,well done weve just got to get the team firing very quickly. But well done everyone 👏

Think there’s a change we get both Konak and McDonnell in the same window? Would be a very promising if we had Konak McDonnell BDK and Bran for the second half of season battle
Goodbye Will Vaulks, I think he’s a great guy but footballing wise his legs have gone, those 4 till the end of the season and I don’t think he gets a look in tbh.

This lazy recruitment team
Lovely signing, Cam Bran,BDK & these two and we look very well set & much stronger in midfield very quickly.

Fair play to the recruitment team.

We aren’t going to die wondering by the look of it that’s for sure, fair play to Thohir.

If only our summer window had been as interesting and exciting as this one so far!

Have we suddenly released the purse strings?
Does make you wonder - rather than waiting to get players out, which seemed to be the case in the summer we are getting the players in and will (hopefully) deal with getting players out later.

Assuming McDonnell happens, and we’ve just signed this Turkish bloke, perhaps Vaulks’ contract will be paid off and he’ll be kept on in the coaching side of things?(didn’t he just get his pro license?)

Has he left ??? I must of missed that today .
I know it’s sarcasm but he surely doesn’t get a look in if we have those 4, he might make the bench but he’d only be coming on to close out games perhaps.

He’s good to have around the place but he’s not a championship footballer quality wise anymore, I think we can all see that

Can't understand why a club of our size ever ditched such a playing model in the first place, the promotion to the Championship should have acted as a way to accelerate this. Jack Currie is evidence that there are plenty of players who do well at L1 level and can then go on to not look out of place in the 2nd tier.
I can't help but feel Robinson and the control he had over many areas of the club had something to do with us moving away from that model. The longer he was here, the more disorganised things felt and it was his last summer window where we signed Djavan Anderson from Lazio reserves on deadline day, despite clearly needing a right back when the window opened 2 months earlier.

Would be pleased with McDonnell. I also rate Savage.
McDonnell looks a clever purchase.

Not so sure on Savage, not sure where he would fit for us and I don’t think I’d be wanting to splash big money on him but the troll factor would be great if he left them to join us.

And Anderson on ridiculous wages to boot. Loads of people were questioning why we didn't offer him a new deal as he did alright for us in League One - it was because he was one of our highest paid players that season
