Transfer Window Closed
It's unlikely the club will be too bothered about having their media team stay outside of office hours on deadline day unless they expect a transfer in. If I'm the media guy, I'd have told my boss not to message me asking me to publish a story unless it's an incoming, as outgoings can wait til tomorrow.
OUFC comms generally are quite awful tho.Any good reason why the club havent announced the departures of Edwards and Dale yet?
Fair enough. I hope they're paying the lad overtime then.![]()
Kyle Edwards Leaves Oxford United | Oxford United Football Club
Kyle Edwards' time at Oxford United has come to an end, as the winger has joined League One side Stevenage.www.oufc.co.uk
Check what time zone you are registered in.
Millwall prepared to let langstaff go ,,,, Kip gets wood over proven striker ,,, prays for Stockton as well
You live on the US East Coast?Oh, I'm registered in UTC-5, and my computer knows I'm in UTC-5.
Somehow the counter we're using on Yellows Forum is drawing the time off my laptop, but not the timezone (off the laptop or the website) and still thinks it's in the UK.......
Feels like it would actually be more difficult to program the counter that way than one that would get it right!!

glad he won't be turning out for their B teamView attachment 25193
Decent move for Dale, glad he’s gone on a Wigan Athletic to loan and not on a Stoke to permanent
You’d say they would say it is wrapped up for the window by posting a tweet like they have previously.1hr 20 to go, is that it?
Bit strange as the club hasn't said anything1hr 20 to go, is that it?
NoIs this real?
I hope not - Marcus Edwards is a ridiculous signing at this level, last season was getting linked with all sorts of clubs after his performances in the champions league.Burnley have signed a couple of players today, wonder if they'll play tomorrow?
Somewhere it was mentioned that Eastwood was happy training, not playing and concentrating on his other interests. He was offered to go out on loan but didn’t want to. Not sure why this is acceptable! What does Simon Eastwood do about the place these days? I think his contract is up in the summer so surprised he hasn't gone on loan to get some games in if he's hoping to play next season (although he will be 36 in June so may be thinking of retiring)
Because he has a contract!?Somewhere it was mentioned that Eastwood was happy training, not playing and concentrating on his other interests. He was offered to go out on loan but didn’t want to. Not sure why this is acceptable!
Because he has a contract that we’re duty bound to honour? He’s under no obligation to go and play for Carlisle for six months just because we might fancy saving a few hundred quid a week.Somewhere it was mentioned that Eastwood was happy training, not playing and concentrating on his other interests. He was offered to go out on loan but didn’t want to. Not sure why this is acceptable!
What do you mean why is this acceptable? He signed a contract with the club, and he is doing his job. He does not have to uproot his life because a couple of fans want him to.Somewhere it was mentioned that Eastwood was happy training, not playing and concentrating on his other interests. He was offered to go out on loan but didn’t want to. Not sure why this is acceptable!
