Sounds like Josh Bowler is getting recalled from Preston and loaned out to another championship club. I wonder if he's one we might be interested in?

Also took quite a while for the extended highlights and full match replay to go up this week. The audio on the latter seemed screwed up as well (or was it just me?). Also significantly fewer photos accompanying the match reports for the last couple of games. Club in crisis?
I’ll counter this and say I only go on the site to listen to the games and to read about when a player signs or other occasional updates - but more often I consume social content more often than visit the site, I don’t think it’s wrong to be focusing on that instead of churning out club articles that talk about nothing

Very similar profile to Longman.

Still a good age, plenty of Championship experience and offers something a little different to what we’ve got already. Also the type of loan where it could be turned permanent, Assume we will be looking.

I’m genuinely intrigued as to what emotion(s) is underpinning your words. Concern? Enjoyment? Jealousy? If it is concern, fair enough; how do you quantify your concern based on evidence?

Genuine question.
I see teams around us strengthening significantly. I see us not. I worry that the end of the season might be trickier than it could have been.

Could you give us a run down of which clubs have strengthened, and where?

Do you think those clubs were bound to throw money at it to get them out of the hole they're in?

Do you not think we have strengthened ourselves, despite 4 new signings?

Worth noting that aside from strengthening on the playing front, we've perhaps strengthened with one of the most capable managers in the division. I've read a few forums now of opposing teams (including our opposition on Saturday) and most, if not all of them have said how good Rowett is as a coach at this level. Many have looked back at previous comments they've made about him and admitted that they'd be happy to see him at their club.

Yes, I'd like to see us sign a couple more players and possibly throw some more decent cash at things but I think the appointment of Rowett will prove our biggest statement of intent this season.

We’ll sign a player between now and the end of the window, you’ll say “Great signing!” and then immediately revert to saying we’re doomed. Must get boring for you too?

Why do you all bite 😂

The club is in its best league position for 25 years, we have owners who have told us what their ambition is, a manager who has come in and given us automatic promotion form, and we have made 4 signings; two of which (Helik and Bradshaw) started the most recent game, one of which (Matos) looks a very sensible loan and the other is our RECORD SIGNING.

OBVIOUSLY the evidence is to the contrary of Kip’s blatant 🎣

I would take Edwards in a heartbeat if we have a squad place free after the deadline. His fitness is frustrating but he is so so so good, proper match winning option off the bench.

I wouldn't take a squad place off another player though, especially one who stays fit.

Im not sure, in at least half of the games that he has come on for this season, he has had no impact. Luton is the only one where he really changed the game

Throwing stupid money about doesn’t mean they’re strengthening significantly.
Not been to many signings made by clubs below us who I’d have loved us to sign. And certainly not at some of the money spent on them.

I bet everyone one of them would have wanted Helik for 500k and Matos.
Bradshaw for 120k and Romeny.
Replacing Ebiowei, Edwards, Sibley and Goodwin…
I’d say that is strengthening significantly, wouldn’t you?
