Re sign the cheeky chappy Chris Maguire. What an entertainer, what a free kick specialist. Huge blunder letting him go.
His contract had ended and he signed a contract for a different club. How is that letting him go? Do you mean OUFC did not do enough to offer him a new contract and force him somehow to sign it? Wouldn't it be great if clubs could force the best players to sign contracts without their consent. What a team we could have!Re sign the cheeky chappy Chris Maguire. Maguire said himself that he travelled for talks and it seemed by what he was saying that the club didn’t seem to want to keep him. I imagine Henry was already lined up to replace him.His contract had ended and he signed a contract for a different club. How is that letting him go? Biography coming soon - "The life of pie."That rules out the return of Matt Day then.
Get your drift. Surely the Chairman knew how much the fans thought of Chris. Could he not have gone the extra mile to persuade him to re sign. Of course we do not know the player's demands, but I have to say it was a bitter pill to swallow when I heard he had chosen Bury. However, I live in hope. I love this forum, so many different opinions being put forward.

Well, why not? It's unlikely that we may need him not cup tied, is it?We've given Mansfield permission to play Kane Hemmings in the FA Cup if anyone's interested!

Depends if we are thinking of selling him to, say, Stevenage or someone. But extremely unlikely I admit.Well, why not? It's unlikely that we may need him not cup tied, is it?
I would hope that it is more likely that we are looking at accepting an offer from Mansfield. That was the expectation at the outset of the loan.Depends if we are thinking of selling him to, say, Stevenage or someone. But extremely unlikely I admit.
