He'll know Ciaron Brown from
NI? As well as Lanks and Currie so that's a good start, sure they were all in his ear when he was deciding to move to us.

Welcome Jamie. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฝ

looks decent

Great news. Plus, signing today, does that make him available for Sunday?

Edit: Just noticed from report on OUFC site: Jamie, who spent the first half of the current campaign on loan at Stoke, goes straight into the squad ahead of Oxford Unitedโ€™s next Championship fixture.

No mini pre season needed, amazing!

Interesting to see some of the Stoke supporters views on social media. A lot are saying he wasnโ€™t really given enough of a chance and seemed talentedโ€ฆ looks promising
A few I saw suggested that he didnโ€™t fit the style of play that they have taken under Robins. A couple of questions about his attitude in training, but given his relationship with Lankshear and Currie Iโ€™m less concerned about that. Young lad, a long way from home and not getting minutes. I think this could be a very, very good signing for us

Seen the spurs account who announced the move say that the option is unaffordable to us, and others have said 4.5 million

Firstly from the very little ive seen of him he looks a good player.(judging over on x most of our fan base were watching Leyton orient last season)

Bit negative i know but these are just my initial thoughts

I feel we are not learning or just preparing for league one we keep signing players who have performed well in league one expecting them to then perform in the championship ie Idris El Mizouni Louie Sibley Peter Kioso luke harris
Maybe just me but id rather have a championship ready player who is ready now and doesn't need to get up to speed of the championship

What are you thinking Colin?
My first thought is that both the player and Spurs must be open to it, which is a big positive.

I suspect it will be an easier deal to do if we stay up, and it may be contingent on that from the player (and his agent's) view. I'm most interested in what kind of fee we've agreed with Spurs, as a loan with a view to permanent usually has this agreed up front. I expect it would be partially performance related, and also have a hefty sell on percentage, if we sell him on, but I can't imagine, even for a 20 year old, this deal will be cheap.

I like the signing, but I really like that we've been able to add in the possibility of making it permanent, as this surely means we're not messing about this window. It could also be a way of deferring some cost, if we need to, due to FFP reasons.

Does this mean the Luke Harris will return to Fulham. Similar players, aren't they?

Sounds good pedigree, but not sure if heโ€™s a forward or attacking midfielder?
He plays just behind the main centre forward. For Orient, he played with Kelman, who was always just slightly ahead him. I've seen him play for NI as well. Excellent player- quick, great feet and tough. Really good signing
