Something happened with about 5 minutes to go, it looked like he'd tweaked something. He was definitely struggling with something and was doing some stretches. Oxford had a corner and Cumming came up to the halfway line and was doing signals to Lewis Price as if he wanted to come off.

All that was said post-match by Ramsey was that he would be going in for a scan on his groin. He had felt it towards the end of the MK match, but they decided to try him at Stevenage anyway. The only real benefit of the Reading match being postponed is it gives him (and others) time to recover.

No question, he stays on the bench for me.

I'd be tempted to bring him in. He gets a lot of criticism for his distribution but Eastwood's was poor today. Easty didn't have much to do today but had an absolute head rush at 0-0 where he came for a ball he was never going to get and had to scramble back, on another day that costs us and he's getting no plaudits.

Totally agree with that. Competition is good and Cumming will come back a better keeper for it.

I reckon Cumming will be back next week. Easty is probably feeling all sorts of aches, apart from anything else.

Easier said than done, but ideally you bring Cumming in before Eastwood has a mare.

There's no doubt that Easty has performed well, but Cumming is the better keeper and we should look to get him in the side when he's fit and ready to return. The good thing is that we're in no rush to do that and I'd certainly plan to stick as we are against Cambridge and then review things over the International break.

So if Burton had scored yesterday after he came flying out to no man's land then you'd drop him, even bought he's done nothing different, but because they missed he keeps his place? He did similar against Leicester but GO'D cleared off the line. He's already had the 'mare(s), we just haven't been punished for it but relying on luck continuing when a better keeper is fit and ready to play isn't a good strategy.

For a 37 year old who's not played for three years he's done admirably and he's obviously popular but we shouldn't let that blind us to his limitations.

As said above I think it’s probably just being cautious with the injury Cumming has, if Eastwood plays next week then the next league match isn’t till into October, I would expect Cumming to come back in then, Eastwood has done well and let our number goalie get fully fit, you can’t ask for much more from him than that.

I'm not sure Cumming should come back in until he's been to the barbers. We got relegated last season with haircuts like Shemmy's.

If his groin injury is the sort that can be improved by a rest then I’d be tempted to bring Cumming back post international break. You could even give him 45 mins in the Vertu Trophy match on 6th October, just to check all OK etc.

Eastie had been absolutely fantastic. To perform as he has done after such a long competitive ‘break’ has been amazing. I thought his kicking was excellent yesterday, one kick towards the end at 1-0 stuck in my mind, where he drilled the ball deep and wide to Mo.

For me I would assess cumming in training and if he is pushing and showing he could perform
Better than Clint then he comes back in. It should not be on the basis of who makes mistakes or is shite.
