Meh, I was expecting headlines about ‘shopping at Harrods’ and ‘uptown boy’. As you were.Ah, I thought it was Knightsbridge.
He could have been the classic ‘which OUFC player and London Underground station contains six consecutive consonants in it?’
I guess we’ll have to settle for five.
Welcome aboard, Jacob.
Lovely little lido lifeguard detail in that postWonder where this leaves Ed Brearey? Was talking about him with one of the lifeguards at our lido just a couple of hours ago. I think he's the same age as Jacob.
Frustratingly, however, the Euros start that day too. At Championship level, I suspect we may now be even more directly impacted by delayed transfers due to summer international tournaments than we had been at League One.Transfer window opens on Friday - should start to get interesting from then on
I hope the Club moves quickly and gets some decent business done . . .
I wondered if a loan was already lined up. If you listen to Ryan's interview with Jacob, I'm sure Ryan says "Oxford sss United" It made me immediately think if it's a slip of the tongue, is he off to City for an initial loan? Close enough to keep an eye on him, he can train with the first team GK's and Lewis Price, and also it would be fair to the lad, in terms of moving into the area and getting settled. Win win ??He mentioned going out on loan this season so I wonder if that’s already the plan for him? Pre season here then off out to get some men’s football under his belt?
Near Chelea, Kenington, Earl Court and Wetminter.Ah, I thought it was Knightsbridge.
