Longs challenge here set the tone for me and I was loving it.
Testosterone, adrenaline and 9 points of peroni removed, I thought the challenge was bordering on excessive force. And regardless of whether you win the ball or not, we all know what that could have meant.
I’m basing my opinion on watching Sam long over a period of time, and feel very strongly that I’ve got it spot on.
I would like to reiterate that I do rate Long…just not playing right back, and for balance I would like to promote his bravery, strength, discipline and leadership when playing centrally.

He had a teriffic game at right back.
Against a very good team, in a huge pressure game.
No one is doubting his 90 mins vs Bolton. To a man, he was outstanding.
But we are in the CHAMPIONSHIP now and wingers will be athletic, fast and direct.
Kyioso will be facing Josh Murphy for eg.
If we want to stay in the second tier, Long will not be back up right back should PK be unavailable. He will be fighting for a centre back position.

That article says they have signed Sonny Perkins too.

Perkins has been there since the start of the season - he's already made as many sub appearances in the league, and starts in the Cup, as he did in his entire half season with us!

Think this is a good move for us and Currie. If he's not going to be a first team regular, best to get him playing week in-week out at League One level. If he impresses there, depending how things are going, maybe we consider a recall in January, or we just pencil him in at LB next year.

Some people here have never experienced the delight of a chicken tikka masala pizza and it shows...
I had an Italian partner for a while and was nearly immediately single after suggesting jalfrezi pizza would probably be alright

Genuinely a good shout. I have a friend up there who I visit (not @Essexyellows ) and the choice and variety for eating out is ridiculous. Nothing fancy or upmarket but absolutely stunning food.

My daughter regularly travels to Leicester with a friend or two just to eat out. Seems a long way to go to me but it sounds like it might be worth the trip!
