Yes almost certainly. Prices for LB his age at this level start at £5m. Regardless of where we finish nearly all our players still in contract will be worth more than double what we paid for them. My biggest worry would be losing Brannagan even it was for a significant fee. He's a very significant asset to the football club already. Whatever division we are in next season, I would imagine we will get offers this summer.
If we were to be relegated, I would hope that we tried to keep him ( although I suspect that him and BDK would be off for good money)Yes almost certainly. Yes I think they both would and well deserved too. I think the recruitment at the moment is sound and sensible rather than spectacular and wasteful. I would like to think we were capable of bouncing straight back if the worst (not the inevitable) happens. If we were to be relegated, I would hope that we tried to keep him ( although I suspect that him and BDK would be off for good money)
Not that long ago Tyler was worth millions and millions (according to here) then he would be lucky to get a loan to L1 which is his level (according to here). I would suggest that we would not get 5 million for Curry currently, as promising as he is.Yes almost certainly. Prices for LB his age at this level start at £5m. If we are relegated, I think there's no hope of keeping him - he'd easily get another Championship club and we shouldn't really stand in his way.If we were to be relegated, I would hope that we tried to keep him ( although I suspect that him and BDK would be off for good money)
With our improved coaching staff it’s a win all round. The encouraging thing about Currie is that while he is a bit raw, he is still improving. Which bodes well for both him and us.
Raw curry isn't that bad, to be fair (although far better cooked twice)The encouraging thing about Currie is that while he is a bit raw, he is still improving. Which bodes well for both him and us.

What is this obsession with selling off our players? People go on about other clubs saying #teamslikeoxford and moan about it but then we have our own fans saying any player that is any good for us will be sold in the summer.I think he is the only one that will go no matter what league we are in next year. 8/10 every week, and could easily get into a team with higher aspirations than us
Because it's all about the money, I'm afraid. Currie will probably have a relegation clause in his contract. Which means that he will be able (probably) to get 3x his salary by a move to a high end Championship club. It's a short career- he's obviously going to want to go. And we'll get £3-4M+.What is this obsession with selling off our players? That is small club mentality!
Players like Currie should be the ones we are trying to put a long term contract infront of them, not sell them off!
That small club mentality is what saw us rise under Appleton. If you can build a sustainable player trading model, where you for example buy a player like Currie for 350k and then after 2/3 years flip him to a team like an Ipswich, or a Wolves for 4 or 5 million quid, that will make the club more attractive for other young players looking to grow and the cycle continues until it grows and grows. What is this obsession with selling off our players?
