Injured players

Wes Thomas is such a waste of space he has scored 10 (9 in the league) with a strike rate of 1 in 3 games this season. If only we had another striker who could have a strike rate

Wes Thomas has scored nine league goals ALL SEASON. He is supposed to be our main striker. Roughly twenty players in league one have scored more than he has. Yup, just the striker for a promotion push next season. (I presume you’re suggesting we keep him?)

And what is the strike rate for these roughly 20 players ahead of him? As said previously, Wes Thomas's is a decent strike rate of 1 every 3 games.

Neither of them are awful, Wes was actually good for the first 25-30 games but seems to be running on fumes now

If we had a good striker they'd be perfect back up options, but having them as our only real 2 strikers is an absolutely shambolic situation to be in

Development game off so Nelson will have to wait for his comeback. Would it be worth putting him on the bench on Saturday even if he's not going to play just for his presence?

Amazing that he's back so soon, thought he'd be playing catch up to get to fitness for start of next season

Hopefully he can be back for Southend game

if you think back to last season Sercombe came back from nowhere AND stayed fit. Pray God its the same with Nelson, what a boost it would give to us all.

Karl Robinson said Robbie Hall had taken a knock in training and was having a scan on his knee.

I was talking to Robbie Hall at the Scunthorpe game and when I asked how long he will be out he replied “I’ve just got to take it one day at a time”. Probably not allowed to say much more than that I guess

He said at the forum that, the cist had leaked into the knee, and Robbie had seen a specialist and had it cleared out that week. And that we wouldn’t see him again this season, to make sure he’s fit and ready to go for preseason

I didn’t attend the forum but was sat behind the injured players at the game. As I thought Robbie obviously couldn’t really comment to a complete stranger ?

I think KR’s comments re: GvK, although on the face of it just report the state of his injury, underline to me a concerted effort on his part to rid the club of all of the foreign imports. I think he wants to pare the squad down to a lean and hungry one for the crucial run in. I think he’s distancing himself from any players who can potentially disrupt harmony and unity

Brexit Karl.

Rad Ox just reported that there are no squad injuries and that the treatment room is empty
