Just cannot see anyone half decent coming in and putting whatever they have built on the line to come to us. Ryan Mason must be looking precarious at the moment at WBA but still couldn’t see him coming even if he got sacked this weekend.

Whoever comes in will have to accept L1 is likely next season. At the same time we would want someone capable of getting us out of L1 at the first attempt. Not many are likely to fit that profile.

A bit like us against Posh in the play off semi final away leg then. I don't mind playing that way away from home against a promotion rival as long as we actually go at teams at home. What I can't stand is the negative approach week in week out, basically playing hoping to keep the score level and nick a goal from somewhere.

When your kid is saying he doesn't want to go to football because it's boring every game you know we need to change.

Partly agree with you but we must get players out to lower our expenditure to free up funds on the balance sheet for regulation purposes. It is to the Board's credit that they allowed players to be brought in the summer before getting some out. It is a massive conundrum as homegrown Champ players cost a load of dosh in fees and wages hence we have additions like Krastev and Prelec. Helik and Shemmy have been playing in the EFL much longer.

I’m not sure most potential managers would be particularly tempted by the prospect of a new stadium in a couple of years (or maybe more). Most think rather more short-term.
