Only a brief cameo from him on Saturday but I thought to myself we’ve got a very good player here. Difficult to read too much into it so far but I think he could become a big player for us. 🤞
Agreed. Disappointing we didn’t see more of him. He added an energy and directness we were missing

Seems to have gone a little under the radar but one I'm really excited about and thought he looked really good when he came on on Saturday. It's great to be able to bring on players of that class so you don't lose any momentum, plus it has to keep everyone on their toes when they know a drop off in form means they'll lose their place and might not be able to win it back for several games. It's a world away from where we were a couple of years ago when you could name the first 11 bar maybe a couple here and there, we've got strength in depth across most positions now.

I don't expect there to be much of an attendance tomorrow but I'll probably pop along in the hope of seeing the likes of El Mizouni, Sibley, Kioso, Ebiowei and maybe a bit from Phillips.

Both during his cameo on Saturday and for much of tonight some of his turns and touches were fantastic. Appears to be a very clever player with a good engine. Going to be interesting to see how that central midfield battle unfolds as the season progresses.

What I saw from him on Saturday made me really look forward to seeing what he could do from the start tonight, and I was not disappointed.

A Rolls Royce of a performance. He just reads it so well, and has the ability to carry out what he wants to do. One of those guys who always seems to find space and time on the ball. He's not massive, he's not really quick, he doesn't do fancy tricks, but my god, he is just a very very good footballer.

I hope you did pop along because all were very good, but I thought El Mizouni was outstanding.

He was, I was just as excited by Phillips though. If that's him not fully fit yet then we've got a player there, and we're in a position where we don't have to rush him or play him when he's not ready either so should be able to get the absolute most out of him.

I assume that the starting XI on Friday will be the same as last Saturday.

But Placheta, RR and Tyler can run themselves into the ground for 60-65 minutes, because we can then bring on Ebiowei, El Mizouni and Phillips (or even Sibley) and know that there's next to no drop off in quality. What a luxury compared to recent seasons!

El Miz not only impressed me with his use of the ball (he didn’t waste a pass all afternoon) but his work rate was excellent
and his tracking back was impressive. His fitness levels are high and is is very mobile and possesses a lot of quality.

Looks a top signing.
I think he’s going to be the find of the season

and still only 23 (24 in a couple of weeks) Orient fans I know also really like him. (and want to sign Currie on a permanent deal)

Agreed he looks excellent, and possibly should have been given MOTM on Saturday.

Though I'm already a little weary of his 'pass to me! pass to me!' gesticulations. Love the enthusiasm, but he does remind me of the arrogant 10 year old 'hogger' in the playground who demands the ball constantly because he thinks that he is better than everyone else around him.

Also, with that hair, he looks like he has a sub-plot in Made In Chelsea as the sexy, wealthy son of a North African diplomat.

No more observations.

what a peculiar set ofremarks to make about a footballer who you think should have got Man of the Match.

I recommend watching different TV shows and counselling for the playground trauma
