Hull City Ticket Thread - Tuesday November 5th (7.45pm)

Just did a count on Hull sales and they currently have 690 seats unsold which means their sales are currently an estimated 828 and total sales are an estimated 9,832.

This was always going to be the game that we struggled most with. Hull do not travel in huge numbers and a Tuesday night game is pretty unappealing for them. And it's the week after half term and amongst far more attractive home games for us. A good win today and a bit more of a push by the club and we will see over 10k with a bit to spare.

The fact that this will likely be the worst gate of the season and will still be 1000 more than last seasons average shows how far we've come.

Hopefully a decent atmosphere under the lights in such a big game.

It can't be any worse than today. I know it was the game to pay tribute to remembrance day but there was zero atmosphere build up pre match. Then when the game finally kicked off it was like the crowd were still observing a period of silence along with the players who were still asleep.

I can't wait until we move so we can have a proper standing/ singing section at home as the east stand (due to being the cheapest price) has attracted alot of moany gits who want to sit down all the time and never sing, alot of them spend more time on their phone rather than watching the game.

9.00pm update on Sunday and there are currently 822 home seats available. Remaining seats are distributed:

North Stand 70
East Stand 49
South Stand Upper 202
South Stand Lower 501

Hull have 674 seats left unsold (looking at their ticket map) which means away sales so far of 844.

That means overall total sales are currently an estimated 10,022.

1 x Adult and 1 x U13 in the family stand up for grabs if anyone needs.

Keeping my powder dry for the ‘discussion’ about how one late night on a school night won’t hurt…

If the league had any sense they would of fixtured this in last Tuesday so it would of fell in half term.

Not sure that half term is the same week nationwide. Plus we could have seen others going away for the week so maybe very little difference in attendance either way.

The reality is that this was always likely to be the game that we struggled to sell out for, but we should still see over 10k which is still very good.

This will be our 9th consecutive 10k+ crowd at a stadium that didn't see many more crowds of that size in the first 20 years.

As Colin said yesterday, far too many glass half empty posts on here these days.

I'm not sure if the idea was quietly dropped, but wasn't one of the ST perks being a free guest match ticket to two selected league games?
I think this match would have been ideal given it's a Tuesday night and not a particularly interesting opponent.

Think it was 2 games at half price. I think that is unworkable now. Especially with the ticket exchange scheme which does not lend itself to that deal.

3 games in 7 days, poor form, Ull on a Tooseday, away fans not sold out.
Very good if we can get 10K.

Is it too late to put my ST tickets up for exchange? No link seems to be available. Also I can't make it tonight and don't like the unkind abuse if I have to leave 3 minutes early.

657 home seats available at 1.45pm on Tuesday - quite a lot of decent seats together were made available today in central block 12 (seems very late for the club to be releasing them) and currently still 32 seats left in that block so net sales of about 50 so far today.

Likely home attendance will be 9,300+ in terms of seats sold (no doubt there will be plenty of empty sold seats with ticket exchange not in operation) and an overall crowd estimate of around 10,200.

What crowd we looking at
By far the most interesting dot count of the season.

We're currently at 9,154 home GA sales, only about 30 up on midnight, but as @Thecurraghofkildare says over 30 seats appeared in Block 12 late this morning and another 15 or so in Block 9. This means we've actually sold about 80 today so far. I'd expect a few more sales today, up until kick off, and would expect the full 290 for boxes to be added on too. This would give a home attendance of about 9,500 and with Hull having sold over 850 so far it should be about 10,400 in total. However with the way the final consolidation never seems to totally add up correctly this season, I'll go for 10,300 final attendance.

What is interesting to me is how ticket buying patterns have changed this season. People are buying much earlier, and until this game it has been a matter of when it sold out, rather than if, as there have never been many tickets left going into the last week. With this game we had about 1,000 tickets left at midnight on Thursday. Last season the LOWEST amount that we sold in the last week prior to a game was 1,300 (first game of the season) and it was often over 2,000. So it is a massive tail off in late sales. Is this game a one off, or did Saturday put off any last minute rush?

I can't really see any comparable games left in the fixture list, and expect we'll revert to the sell out pattern of the earlier games. Taking all of that into account I find it surprising, and disappointing, that the club have done nothing in the way of incentives for this game.

Apart from the pre-match show, which they've banged on about at every opportunity. If witnessing the below isn't an incentive, I don't know what is:

Prepare for a match experience like never before! As the teams take the field, the atmosphere will be charged with excitement and energy, setting the stage for an incredible showdown against the Tigers.
