A tough lesson for Ramsey tonight. Sam Long is miles off the level and only needs to be used in an emergency, Kioso was a disgrace for the third goal, Currie has had a really poor start to the season.

That said, we have no divine right to win games in this league and it will be a tough and long season - if you’re not up for the ride, then f**k off right now

Well done to the young lads and Easty tonight, there’s plenty to like about the way we play and if we finish comfortably this season whilst developing more youngsters then it’s a good season in my eyes. There’s not a chance we’re at the level that the reactionary c***s on this forum think we are.

Why couldn't we just slow it down at 1-1 and try and be solid?!

Lots of positives, great commitment, great to see academy doing well, team spirit looking and a great entertainment second half despite the obvious.

I think we will win more than we lose this season.

Centre of defence obviously a huge concern, not really sure why helik left out bloody hope he hasn't had his clause triggered as then it will be a long season

I like the positivity but I'm not seeing it I'm afraid on this showing. Poor decision making and the midfield becoming ineffective as it was last season. Gats is the bright point so far this season but it's going to be a struggle as we knew it would be.

I don’t understand this point. Long wasn’t out of position relative to the defensive line or Moore. He was just beaten for pace. Would you play Helik 15 yards behind the last defender?

We controlled the first half, although didn’t do much with the ball. Second half has been shambolic.

Feels like we have been too naive second half. Kai Andrew’s looks good, expect him to start with cam and McDonald on Saturday. Also think GOD now needs to start.
Don’t know what we do at the back - it’s lacked hight and pace today, don’t know who Leicester have up top but Spencer or Helik to centre back may be wise.

Branagan, Brown, Long, Spencer, Dembele, Currie.

Too many individual errors.

Been saying exactly this to some friends. It’s not been the fringe/youth players, the backbone of our squad have all had awful games tonight. Misplaced passes, chaotic, poor positioning, weak, lacking creativity etc. etc.

I don’t think L1 is a good league, but we’re making it look very good tonight.

May surprise some, but I’m not too concerned after today. Huddersfield will be in the top 4, and Taylor is a very good striker for this level. If the Villa kid is half as good as advertised, I don’t see why we wont beat 16 teams in this league and be comparable to another 4

There's a reason why every one of our players is still playing for us at this level, and that's more than anything their flaws.

Tonight we saw too many of those exposed at the same time. Beaten by the better side.

And fans who think the academy players are a positive, well, I’d say they are well off it. Not physical enough for this league, so when you add the likes of Dembele, Goodrham etc, it’s really a weak squad!

Just feels so 'us' to make such an absolute monkey's breakfast of the golden opportunity we were handed to stay the Championship last year, only to compounded by yet another utter clusterfuck of a summer this time around. All we've ever asked for is a well-run club. Sometimes I feel like we're further than ever from getting that.

Because put Helik next to Brown with Eastwood in goal and you've got three players who can't really pass a ball forward with any quality or consistency. Doesn't help the long option is Mark "Invisible" Harris.

Long was well off it tonight, but generally he'll do a better job finding teammates than any of the other options. Can understand why against a smaller attack led by Taylor that Ramsey made the choice. But yeah, didn't pay off.
