Matches How Many Stadiums Visited Watching OUFC?

79 for me including a midweek game at Kettering where I missed both our goals and then discovered the “gentleman’s facilities” were ankle deep in p*ss.
I also remember taking 6 hours to drive back from Oldham to Norfolk as the A1M was closed and the person responsible for putting out the diversion signs could only be bothered to put out 1 sign - no sat nav in those days and no map!!

If I remember correctly at that Kettering game they let people out to use the toilets in the nearby bowling alley or something like that.
My other memory was the sinks being full of P**s as well. 😱

I quite enjoyed Stafford, though I don't remember the toilets, didn't they have a sports hall as a bar for us? Or was that Farsley Celtic?
ka$$am certainly took us on a journey, character building.
Other highlights for me were Altrincham, Northwich Victoria and Halifax.
I remember a bar in what was either a squash court or something like that at Salisbury.
Other non-league favourites Weymouth, Woking, Aldershot, Tonbridge Angels, Eastbourne, Kidderminster.

Some of the ones I missed were Droylsden, Farsley Celtic, Halifax, Chester.

My wife is still traumatised by Kettering away on a Tuesday night (and being ‘ankle deep’ in P**s 🤣🤣).

She wasn’t my wife then actually. Probably a shock she stuck around! (She also walked out of the aforementioned festive defeat at Salisbury due to the cold and literally sat in the car by herself for 40 minutes rather than suffer anymore!)

A very useful website for logging your visits.

86 grounds with 43 of the PL/EFL for me.
201 according to that site, although maybe 25/30 of them were for games not involving Oxford. I'll also have two new ones this season with the new Swansea and Cardiff grounds.

I wish I’d known about the bowling alley, it was the worst time to discover how porous my new trainers were 🤢

I think around 60 stadiums I have visited in watching Oxford since the 1980's. Visited grounds from Aylesbury United at their old Buckingham road ground. Marlow. Roker Park to Anfield. Many grounds that I have visited are long gone. Like stoke's victoria ground, Hull Boothferry park, Brighton goldstone ground, southampton the dell, middlesborough Ayresome park, wimbledon plough lane, coventry highfield road, reading elm park, highbury, white hart lane, boleyne ground, maine road,

85 in total. 78 in the top 7 divisions plus Wembley, Rushden, Stafford, Grays, Macc, Bury and Bicester. Possibly an Aylesbury friendly to make it 86. Favourite Blackburn, least favourite Grays (the word shithole has never been more appropriate).
I unbelievably missed Wembley off my list despite 5 visits so 97.
