Barrow away on a Friday night, was an awful place to get to, we lost 3 - 1 if I remember correctly.

Definitely the first game of the season. I guess it was on TV else why would it have been a Friday night game?

It was on Setanta, I watched it up the Chequers in Quarry with a sinking feeling of a season over just as it was starting.

I think mine is about 61 different grounds but when I was listing them I noticed there were about a dozen old grounds and apart from ours I had not been to both the old and new ground. Indicative of taking 30 years off I think.

At least we only had short trips home, coming home from the Barrow peninsula after that must have made the 16 hour journey even worse. That’s how they should have decided who got first dibs on Peterborough away tickets in the play off 2nd leg last season, if you could pick yourself out on the Setanta
footage of that one you were in.

I was there, and it was as shit an away day as you could get.

Took ages to get to, was a shithole when we got there, lost in embarrassing fashion, got home at stupid o'clock in the morning.

It was a bit lively in the car park after the game though!
