Matches How Many Stadiums Visited Watching OUFC?

Maybe not Oxford fans, but Brighton played home league matches at 4 different grounds between 1997 and 2011 (Goldstone, Priestfield, Withdean and Amex). Don't know whether any clubs would have played them at all 4?

Wimbledon have played at four as well. Plough Lane, Selhurst Park and the National Hockey Arena.

They also played at Wimbledon Common from 1889-1912. Big props to anyone posting on here who saw them play there.

St Albans away literally felt like watching Oxford in park football. I remember Yemi scoring right in front of us.

I still always go back to Stafford Rangers as one of the worst grounds from the conference years - with a gents which was basically just a wall to P**s against.

God some of the grounds we saw us lose at during those four years! That loss at Salisbury is still one of the coldest, bleakest away trips I’ve ever had with Oxford (although Wycombe away a couple of seasons ago - where Mehmeti ripped Djavan Anderson to shreds - is genuinely as cold as I can ever remember being)

I'll see your Salisbury and St.Albans and raise you a Lewes and Eastbourne!
I've done all four.

I've also seen Bristol Rovers at the three grounds mentioned further up the thread. Another club I've seen us play at three grounds is Rotherham; Millmoor, the athletics place (can't remember the name), and New York Stadium.

How many have done Salisbury away and St Albans away?? Salisbury has to have been the coldest ground that I have been to and St Albans was the most "sounds like playing at Florence Park with hockey balls hitting the back of the hockey goals".
Went to Salisbury twice I think out of the three.
And St Albans didn’t they have a tree in the terrace that gave you a free goal if you managed to get the ball stuck there ?

Done Salisbury and Eastbourne, Gateshead was my favourite non league venue I visited though, purely because me and a mate somehow ended up walking round the athletics track to the away end, still not certain how that happened.

Coldest ground is Hulls old one, it’s Hull so the game was probably in September and still freezing.

Going off the current 92 rules I reckon I have seen Oxford at 96 current grounds plus another 20 that are no longer used. I used to go to a lot more away games but not many now due to commitments.

Yes. Done both and forgot about St Alban's so 97 so far.

I remember the St Alban's keeper getting very angry with us Oxford fans. And it was the ground with the tree. Final game of the regular season before the play offs iirc.

Edit: Recount and the total is 101. It probably shouldn't but even 90+ surprised me.

I've been to 99 different away teams, including Salisbury & Grays. But I haven't kept a record of different grounds, so just counting Rotherham, Bristol R etc as once.
And Deepdale in the New Year will be #100. I think a lot of us will be collecting that one, hope there's enough tickets to go round.

I quite enjoyed Stafford, though I don't remember the toilets, didn't they have a sports hall as a bar for us? Or was that Farsley Celtic?
ka$$am certainly took us on a journey, character building.
Other highlights for me were Altrincham, Northwich Victoria and Halifax.

85 in total. 78 in the top 7 divisions plus Wembley, Rushden, Stafford, Grays, Macc, Bury and Bicester. Possibly an Aylesbury friendly to make it 86. Favourite Blackburn, least favourite Grays (the word shithole has never been more appropriate).

I hated Grays - until the last year we went there and we smashed them, and the bell ringing idiots who always goaded us from those flats above the away end popped off inside!

Didn’t the mighty Kristaps Grebis make one of his rare appearances for us at Grays too?
