Matches How Many Stadiums Visited Watching OUFC?

Without any research I am guessing 55/60 for me. I will sit down and do a bit of homework to come up with a more exact figure.

I’m guessing over 5 decades of supporting OUFC I would say around 70 or so but sadly nowadays I am confined to home games and only travel on certain occasions

Just done an all matches export from Futbology. A bit of fiddling around in excel to remove games that weren't involving us and I get to visiting 118 different grounds including pre-season friendlies. Might be some more matches that I forgot to log but I think that should be pretty accurate for grounds.

[edit] just seen from earlier in the thread you can pick a team in futbology and it summarises for you

I'm around 45 of the current grounds but can add old places like Ninian Park Cardiff, Boothferry Park Hull, Eastville Bristol Rovers, Goldstone Ground Brighton, Northampton's old ground with the cricket pitch etc ..... probably 55 ish in total. Some of these other numbers though are off the scale - 100 plus ... 👏👏👏👏

A while back, on the train home from work, I marked up all of the grounds I'd been to (including non Oxford games) on the my Ground app - it totaled 165.

With Oxford it is 125 (including some of the provisos above, 3 x Bristol Rovers, 2 x Rotherham, 2 x Derby, etc). As with @LeftSideLarry - Preston is the one that remains unvisited in the current Championship.

96 for me but I may have missed some. I only got reminded about Salisbury as I saw a headline about something else from there.

96 for me..in 33 years..and I’m sure I’ve missed a couple! Will be 100+ by then of the season!!

Easier for us to rack up a higher number of different grounds than fans of a lot of other clubs, due to us dropping down out of the league and climbing back up.

No, only if they move
Depending on which version of the 92 club you look at they had stricter rules which have now been relaxed.
Not sure which is more "official".

Must be a first team competive match
If a club moves you have two years to visit the new ground.
rule deleted - Only matches played on or after the start of any club's present period within the League can be included. eg watching Oxford at home in the Conference wouldn't have counted.
rule deleted - If any club leaves the League, visits up to that date do not count, even if they are subsequently re-elected. eg watching Oxford in the EFL prior to 2006 wouldn't have counted once we went down to the Conference.

allows any football match including friendlies

Eastville Bristol Rovers
I never got to Eastville, but got to Twerton Park when they were playing in Bath. Must be a few on here who have been away to Bristol Rovers in 3 different grounds. Can't believe anyone has been away to a club to more grounds than that.

I wish I'd have kept a tally of all the Oxford games I've been to! I think I must be around the 1300-1400 mark - 52 years, I'm reckoning an average of about 25 a season, there's at least ten seasons in that where I haven't missed a home league game. Not so prolific away though! Must have seen 100 odd cup games too. Probably another 150 random games I've found myself at as well .... like a lot of other fans, fair to say football has been a big part of my life!!!!

Think I went there in the 74/75 season, around that time. Had a dog track or something and random stands scattered around it, you didn't miss much! I think there's a Tesco there now if you look down to your right as you head towards the centre of Bristol on the M32.

Maybe not Oxford fans, but Brighton played home league matches at 4 different grounds between 1997 and 2011 (Goldstone, Priestfield, Withdean and Amex). Don't know whether any clubs would have played them at all 4?

You could match it with Charlton; Selhurst Park, The Boleyn Ground and The Valley which I did. Never did Eastville but did the others with Bristol Rovers.

Thinking about it, Coventry is possible for 4 as well. Highfield Road, Ricoh Arena, and didn't they play at Sixfields in Northampton and also at St Andrews?
