The latter I think. Should be available for Monday. Is he injured, or just out due to a rule surrounding concussion?
I agree. I would bring in Spencer for Long at this point. Hidde has rarely had a poor game for usI've been a bit of a broken record with ter Avest but thought he was excellent again today, especially considering he often found himself defending 2 on 1. Very rarely beaten and at times had some really good link up play, especially with BDK. Looked like a couple of proper footballers when they combined.
Should retain his shirt even when Spencer is back for now.
But we always look rubbish with five at the back! I’m sure it was no coincidence we were better today in our usual formationIf there's ever a point where everyone is fit and healthy, I'm not sure that 5-2-3 isn't our best formation.
Something like:
Cumming
Ter Avest Spencer Helik Davies/Brown Currie/Leigh
Cam BDK
Prelec Lankshear Dembele
Just feels like that formation allows us to get all of our best players into the team in positions that suit them well,
Is Prelec a winger? Always thought he was an out and out striker. Mills was poor today, but otherwise has been good and would be my pick to start right wing, especially if he's got Lankshear to cross to.If there's ever a point where everyone is fit and healthy, I'm not sure that 5-2-3 isn't our best formation.

Don't hate the rest of that team though, a lot of natural balance in it, at last, and BdK looks such a step up on Vaulks that we could maybe get away with 2 in there, depending on the opposition.
Quite agree - never understood how Kioso got the gig over him so often last seasonTer Avest has probably been underused for me, I know he has had the injuries but he is probably the best full back at the club, it should be his place to lose after today.
Don’t want to see wing backs though, we can’t play it, we sit deeper with it but still leave gaps which the opposition walk through.
Agreed, my MOTM.Sensational today. Really looked to want to prove a point to Rowett. Like the bloke a lot.
Decided to have a Saturday lie-in so missed the 12:30 kick-off. That or he was injuredDoes anyone know why Ter Avest wasn’t in the squad on the weekend?
A knock in trainingDoes anyone know why Ter Avest wasn’t in the squad on the weekend?
First training on the grass this weekAny shouts on when we can expect HTA back?
With Spencer out for some time, we could do with an option there to challenge Long and to offer something different.
The guy has never had much of a run of games since he has arrived but has shown that he’s capable.
No wonder our players always look knackered if they've been on the grass all weekFirst training on the grass this week
Well he is Dutch. No wonder our players always look knackered if they've been on the grass all week
We are crying out for pace at the back. He has to come in for Sam Long as soon as he is fit.Assuming he’s now fit? As he technically is very good, could we try him in MF - we don’t have many options currently in squad, but could he work with a three with Cam and BDK, more mobile than Vaulks and can defend plus can pick out a pass?
Agree but hopefully Spencer is getting close, but interested to see if he could play a MF role?We are crying out for pace at the back. He has to come in for Sam Long as soon as he is fit.

Funnily enough, before he got injured I was thinking Spencer could be a temporary solution at the base of midfield until January, just to give us more mobility alongside his natural defensive instincts, plus he's decent on the ball. It was glaringly obvious on saturday at West Brom how many second balls we don't pick up in midfield, part of which is definitely down to a lack of athleticism in that area of the pitch.Assuming he’s now fit?
