Just make a statement saying that we're really disappointed with the lack of communication and direction from the club, and that it's effecting both the on and off feeling surrounding the club.

Wasn't that got across to the MD at the recent meeting organised by OxVox? I remember seeing it mentioned but may have imagined it.

If it was raised then why keep repeating it?

If Oxford don't want to be annoyed, why did the new MD and Academy manager go to an OxVox meeting where any question could be asked?

Likewise, if OxVox don't want to annoy Oxford why would they invite them to such a meeting?

Should the oxvox illuminati have been dispatched to drag DE back from abroad?

How dare DE try to sign a player during a transfer window, instead of attend an ox vox members meeting !

Our intrepid chairman has been living up to the Slippery nickname of late....as in hes very elusive .... the local media tv,radio &newspaper can't track down DE for comment or statement ...why then should any of oxvox comittee (elected by oxvox members) fare any better?

Or because he was trying to sign a player that if the claims are true (and they didn't come from the Oxford end) for a record transfer fee and it being a full back. How very devious of him!!!!

Just for clarification, there have not been any notes sent out following the recent members meeting. They'll be included in the next committee meeting minutes which will be in the next couple of weeks.

Also, as you'd expect, we are in very regular contact with DE and the other members of the senior management of the club.

Making a statement about Peps departure, wasn't, we thought, necessary at this point and with DE out of the country, we haven't been able to have a formal meeting (just phone calls) about the current situation and 'next steps'. DE is not back in the country yet, but meetings are in the diary!

Please be assured, that issues around 'communication' ARE being raised and we are not blind to the need for an improvement in fan engagement.

I'm writing this whilst driving (not behind the wheel!), but having picked up on the thread, thought it important to chip in!

Every one of us will have varied opinions on all things Oxford United whether it be players staff manager Owner Ground but why a need for this constant bickering, it's tiresome.

Yes, for a long time.

We have a CEO to do the required bits of signing players etc as Mark Ashton did. DE will no doubt be informed and involved with the process of the manager recruitment whether he is local or overseas.

But as u well know it was a Oxvox meeting not a fans forum. De isn’t normally in attendance at these anyway. Do u think u would have got a different answer on Exeter collage from Darryl than u did from Ian ?

I couldn't give a shot about WE, all I want is a solution that benefits the club rather than anyone else, especially Kassam.
