Morrissey. Not a fan of music or his views, but he has an amazing ability to offend absolutely everyone and not care a fig. While getting maximum attention for whatever his project is. A dying art form if ever there was one.
The Apple marketing department. How these guys and gals manage to convince so many people to spend extraordinary amounts of money on bang average phones with an ugly out-of-date OS is nothing short of amazing.

Not that liking them should be considered a guilty pleasure of course, but it certainly was at the music publications I used to write for.
Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy in particular provides amazing melodic joy from start to finish - like so much of their discography.
