I see we have 16 members online and 60 odd guests online

Would be nice if 'the guests' joined the forum and participated. The more the merrier, both OUFC and other club fans.

We also appear to regularly have a number of robots viewing too!

Yep, we have a lot of robots trawling through, i believe this is for indexing the pages for searching.

I agree, I think a closed forum would result in fewer members joining and contributing. But that's just my uneducated guess.
